I reached out to Craig to obtain an estimate for a new roof on my cape cod. He came by the very next day, called me and setup an appointment to meet in person. He sat down with me face to face, explained the situation with the current roof, and the options I had. He was very friendly, professional, and genuine. I signed the contract that night, and he completed the entire roof the following week. I arrived home, with no mess, no debris, and a brand new roof. He even came back the next day to double check his work, and ensure the job was complete 100%. I would recommend him to anyone & everyone!

We have extensive gardens surrounding perimeter of house as well within the yard.  They took the utmost care to cover everything with tarps and were constantly aware of the surroundings.  Honestly we expected, and told contractor, we understand damage would be inevitable because of the extensive plantings we have.  I can truthfully say there was no discernible damage noticed to anything. It's been over a week now since they left and we are extremely happy.  The crew was polite, very friendly (no blaring radio as other previous roofers in the neighborhood had disturbed our quality of life including foul language).  They cleaned up thoroughly leaving no evidence of their presence upon completion.  I could not not believe that I only found two nails on the property since the work was done. I thank God I chose Craig and his 5 Star Roofing and Siding Company; absolutely no complaints, love the roof, the workmanship, the crew; really satisfied beyond my expectation.

We called about 7-9 roofers that we found on Angie's list/were reputable. We had estimates from each of them. 5 Star was the lowest price, we really liked the owner, Craig, who personally came out to our house to scope out the roof. Our roof was so bad in spots that he was nervous about the wind, rain, and snow, so he booked us as soon as possible during his busy season, which was only about a three week wait. He charges nothing up front, which let me know that I could really trust this company. He was patient with us as we chose a color, and even gave addresses for us to see certain roof colors on certain houses to help us with our decision. At his first visit he specifically asked if my husband or I were a teacher, student, military etc, so he could take a bit of an edge off the cost for us, since we are a young, new family. 5 Star's employees are not just college kids looking to make money, they are all older, experienced men. Each were respectful, hard working (came out in the cold rain), efficient, and cleaned up after each day (took three days due to weather.) Another bonus was that nothing in our attic had to be cleared, which I had expected/heard of. They protected all of our storage in the attic. I know if something happened with our roof, or we were dissatisfied with any aspect of it (we're not, thus far) they would come back in a heartbeat and fix it. They are a dignified company who I would recommend over and over to anyone who needed a new roof!

My interaction with the company was good. They seemed thorough. They did good work. They cleaned up and hauled everything away. They did the job in the time that they said they would do. They came in on estimate. They did everything the way we said. The roof looks nice. I had shopped around and it was a good price. Their punctuality was good. I would use their service again in the future if I had the need.

Did what he said he would, when he said he would, for the price he said he would. Excellent workmanship, professional crew. Excellent clean up. Would highly recommend .
