+ -1 moreMike responded right away and came to look at the work. He stated it was 2 days work, which I do not argue. it certainly would have taken me longer if I did it myself. When price came around, he stated he "likes to make $300 a day". A bit odd, stating what you "like to make" rather than quote by the job at hand. The work was marginal, acceptable but not impressive. My biggest bark, is that on day 1 he showed up just before 10AM, and left at 3PM. Day 2 he was on site at 930AM and gone by 130PM. Doesn't sound like 2 days work to me. Sounds like 10 hours work, which an aggressive and focused professional could probably have completed in a single day for $500. So, I needed the work done, hired Mike and paid $600 for an average job. Could have done better I believe.
Description of Work: Several brick on the exterior of our 120 year old house had deteriorated, eroded, and needed to be pointed and set back in place.
