I was pleased with the work he did. he was reasonably priced, professional, trustworthy and did an excellent job.

Walter was very professional, patient and fast!! He worked with our time frame, answered all of our questions and made great suggestions. We are definitely using him again in the future. Definitely give him a call and hire him!!

Walter was very professional and friendly with our family. He arrived every day on time, finished the house on schedule and at the price he quoted. We got two other estimates before hiring Walter and his price was the most competitive. He handled picking up all the paint and materials, all we had to do was move small stuff away from the walls, and he handled moving the big furniture. He was careful about rolling the paint on without smoothly without drip marks, brush marks, etc.. His paint lines on the trim and ceilings were straight and neat, and he kept everything tidy as he worked from room to room. I would definitely recommend Walter and would call him again if we needed paint and other handyman type work in the future.

Walter did an AMAZING JOB!! He is very detailed, accurate, and through. He even retouched up the damage done by the carpet installers without me requesting it. He guided me through the whole process and cleaned up his work place everyday. Walter takes pride in his work and it is reflective in the paint job he did at my condo. I love the job Walter did, and will definitely hire him again in the future.

I can not say enough good things about Walter!! Believe me, I truly feel that he is the BEST choice for a painter over all other Angie's list options! When I called with an inquiry he answered immediately and met me the following day at our location. I expressed my concerns about a time crunch and he said he could start the next week (perfect for our timeline for move in). He works alone and he works FAST! The estimate was sent quickly and they price was more than fair in comparison to 2 other companies in the Hudson Valley area I spoke to. I immediately felt his level of professionalism when we met and felt SO relieved and knew I could trust him to follow through. His workmanship is incredible. I had to pick colors quickly based on our move in timeline and he encouraged me to carefully consider all options and try them out on the walls. We didn't end up liking one of the grays I chose because it came out too blue and I should have followed his advice from the start and tried it on the wall beforehand. Nevertheless, he was beyond accomodating and repainted - finishing the whole project in ONE day! At final walk through we were beyond impressed. We plan to hire him again to paint our bathrooms and hopefully our kitchen cabinets because we are so pleased with the job he did for us. Thanks again Walter for all your hard work! You're the best!

This is the second time that we have had Walter Burke do painting for us.  The first time he painted almost all our ceilings including a high ceiling in the entryway, and he also painted several rooms.  The second time was the deck and other jobs listed above.

BOTH times he did a WONDERFUL job.  

He got back to us immediately, or told us when he would get back to us.
His estimate matched what he actually charged.
The work done was superb.
It was done very quickly.
He came and went when he said he would.
He has skills beyond painting such as repairing all sorts of items around the house.
He is extremely professional.

Painted 3 bedrooms, living room, dinning room, kitchen, 2 bathrooms and hallways. Did a great job and I'm very satisfied.

Walter is very efficient--ordered the replacement molding and showed me a sample. The result was better than new.
