XM Satellite Radio

They sent me a bill on 6/12/11 for $31.69. I sent them a certified letter including a copy of the original contract, a copy of my check and a copy of the old bill as well as the new bill. I received another bill from them on 7/13/11. I talked to them 7/16/11 and they got back to me the following Monday. On 7/25/11, I got another bill. The contract was good thru April 2012. The reason for the bills is because they raised their prices when the company was bought out from XM Radio. They raised the prices from $10/mo to $15/mo. They cut my service off last week, they gave me credit for the time I lost but they still are asking for more money when I've already paid the fee for the 29 months. I feel I shouldn't have to pay that since I've already paid what the contract asked for.

I was told by the dealer (MacDonald Cadillac) that my new car had free satellite radio and that I should call XM to have it activated. I called XM and spoke to a most difficult to understand representative who ended the conversation by requesting my credit card number to which I responded that the service was included in the car purchase price to which she said, "We need your credit card in case you decide to extend the service." A week later I received a bill foir the billing period 10/23/2010-10/24/2010 for $61.78. I called the Listener Care number on the bill and spoke after a number of holds that invariably ended in disconnects to a representative who demanded to know the reason for my desire to cancel the service. My total discontent and exasperation in trying to get an answer to a simple billing inquiry had by that time left totally without faith in XM's ability or desire to resolve anything.
