Wood Vitalize

The quality of work was top notch. I recently bought a co-op that had some pretty run down flooring after being under carpet for about a decade. The floors are vitalized and the work speaks for itself. On top of the work itself, Adam is a pro. My building is a co-op and requires all sorts of red tape to get anything done. Adam was patient and helped navigate through all of the paperwork. 10/10 would do business again.

They were very professional throughout the whole project. My hardwood floors needed to be refinished before i moved in and i was on a very tight timeline. The crew did an amazing job staining my floors and achieved the exact color i was looking for. They provide Dustless Wood Floor Refinishing which was very clean and did not require any major clean up. I highly recommend Wood Vitalize for their beautiful work and their professionalism.

Adam and his crew were amazing to work with. They did a floor refinishing job for two bed room apartment, and turned old red oak wood into beautiful silky, matte floors. Throughout the project, they were professional, punctual, and responsive. Adam constantly communicated with me to make sure that the final outcome is what I desired. In addition, Adam was on top of all the paperwork required by building management, and made the entire process incredibly smooth. I will definitely reach out to him in the future for more floor jobs.

Oh my gosh, I have no idea why it took us so long to have this done. (Getting the kids out of the house was probably a factor.) But honestly, you won’t believe what an incredible job these guys do. You will feel like you’re in the last scene of an HGTV show when they do the big reveal. Our kitchen floor looks fantastic. It has seriously never looked this good. It’s like a new lease on life. Adam and his crew came on time, were efficient, polite and did amazing work. And there was NO MESS! Adam’s price was also way better than the others I price shopped with. Do yourself a favor. Call Adam and get this scheduled. You’ll be so happy you did.

Adam and the Wood Vitalize team are the absolute best! They saved the day, and the floors of our NYC townhouse, after a falling out with another contractor who did not know what he was doing. After being burned once I met with 5 different vendors to make sure I got it right. Adam and his team put me at easy. With over 20 years of experience I knew I was in great hands. Prompt, courteous, and competitive with their pricing, they walked me through the process and were able to turnaround the entire project quickly in advance of our move. If our floors ever need buffing or repair in the future I will definitely be calling Adam again! Thank you for all of your attention to detail and great care. Great!! The wood floor stains from dog urine over an extended period of time were removed, and the floor largely restored to it original color.

Everything went very smoothly. Adam (who managed the project and gave us a price quote) came together with the guys who did the work and introduced them. They were fast, clean and professional. The result was good. Payments were done using Zelle, which was convenient.

Adam and his crew performed the work exactly as he had told us and our floor now looks terrific. Adam was a pleasure to work with, and the crew was efficient and pleasant. They turned up on time each day and cleaned up well, with communication being easy and exact. I would re-hire without hesitation.

It was excellent and very happy with the work. The owner explained everything to me every stem of the way and kept me inform. I recommend them to my friends and family.

I needed to schedule refinishing to dovetail with painting and delivery of furniture. Adam was thorough in his description of sandless refinishing. He was prompt and very cooperative in working with my timetable. On the day of the job he and his crew arrived promptly. They worked efficiently and were very respectful of my home. When Adam came back near the end of the day (they were there the whole day) he let his crew go home so he could apply the last coat. Product was green and odorless which was essential for me to sign the contract. This is a very profession, thoughtful operation.

The work was performed perfectly. We are pleased with the result.

I contacted Adam Verano from Sandless Finish about a month ago to redo my floors immediately after someone else completely botched the job. I picked him because although he did not have hundreds of  reviews, the few that I did see were much more detail oriented than generic, and they were clearly from educated and articulate individuals.  They were all right, too.  He cares about the job he does, he is very polite and professional, and it gets done the way it should or until he makes sure that his customer is happy. I have never written a review before, but  Adam stood out enough in all my experiences working with contractors that it is a month later, and I still want to write him one. My floor looked coppery from another floor professional (Very highly rated on Angie's list, check the details, folks!) and since it was so poorly sealed, Adam told me he would be able to redo it without having to completely sand down the floor again. I had the choice of going all natural with a clear finish or a stain that would be close to what the floors were originally. Adam mixed some different variations of the stain and then spent a considerable amount of time  showing me how it would look on very large sections of the floor and put the sealer on another section showing me how it would look just natural. Although the actual staining would be more expensive, Adam did not pressure me one way or the other. He said both would look good. I did land up going with the stain, and he then did some mixing and started tweaking his original color until we got it to what I wanted.  He spent that day and part of the next day working to get the color correct and trying different variations.  It is mostly parquet and he painted over all the squares by hand, even doing some darker and some lighter as he thought was needed. He worked very quickly once we agreed on the color and it was finished the next day. Adam then carefully moved back all of my  furniture and plugged my computer back in. I am super happy with the job he did. The color seems natural and the whole floor now has a clean and very finished look to it. I cannot give him a higher recommendation--both in how he treats his customers and how particular he was in mixing the stain to restore my floor back to the color I wanted. If you are a picky New Yorker who wants your apartment to look its best, and are hunting for someone who does an excellent job at a much higher level than the norm, then go with him.

Very pleased with the outcome in refurbishing a scuffed, dirty parquet floor that had had no serious work since the building was constructed in 1955. Adam and his crew finished the job in 2 days, and we are VERY pleased with the results. He picked the right amount of sheen (semi-gloss) and was able to get up every area of stain and water damage. Highly recommended!

Did a good job-very little odor and the floors looked like new!

...It was a pleasure having Adam and Paul of and quot;Sand-Less Finishand quot; here to do my wood floors....
They are pleasant, low key, neat and curtious....They moved my furniture and rearranged it after
the work was done....Everything went so smoothly, couldn't have been better.
...Adam and Paul started and finished within the time frame they had discussed with me(1 1/2 days) and they also had
explained what the procedure was and the various steps, so nothing came as a surprise....The biggest
surprise i received is that i never thought that my floors would look this good (like new) without using a sanding
machine!!
....before i had it done, more than one friend said that without sanding, nothing could change!! but not one
of them had ever even heard about sandless refinishing...
....i am so happy i went ahead with the and quot;sandlessand quot; method and would recommend that everyone should use this
sandless method....it's shorter, simpler, and so much healthier; so, even all of you who don't have allergies, etc.,
this is the only way to go!!!

Floors were bad to begin with so it was difficult to get them perfect. Oil based polyurethane might have been a better choice than water based but too late now. He did try to correct some marks made later.

They were on time, did exactly what they said they were going to. They even moved all the furniture and put it back in place when they were finishing.
