Wimsey is fine and healthy now and they took care of him extremely well. The doctors are wonderful and all of the staff ; vet aides and administrative staff are friendly, competent and go above and beyond. It is very obvious that all at West Chelsea are there because they love animals and want to make sure they remain healthy and happy. The staff will make sure you get in to see the doctor in an emergency, I was always seen on time, and the doctors called more than once to check up on Wimsey when he was sick The facility is beautiful and they have all of the equipment and necessities to take care of your animal in a caring and modern environment. This is my first animal so I don't know how their prices compare to other vets, but even with my senior discount they do seem high.

Went into the Vet was seen right away. The vet was super friendly to both me and my puppy. I told him what was happening and he told me what my puppy had. He then gave me a perscription. He let me pay inside the room since my puppy wasn't up to date on his shots, so that he wouldn't get sick from the other dogs.

West Chelsea Veterinary Hospital are on the expensive side, but the service is very good. They spend quality time with your pet. They're very conscientious. Their prices are pretty much typical of New York prices.

Dr. Halligan is very nice and professional. She does a good job and is very honest.

Went well, good vets. Expensive though, as the other reviewers wrote, although I'm not sure that other quality vets in Manhattan are going to be any cheaper. In areas like full-body anethesia, you don't want to find the cheapest places.

They were good but the price was more on the experience side. It was a very easy and good experience. The price was the only downside. Definitely everything was good.

Their vet was Dr Mlakaday - a competent, thorough professional and a really nice person - who had been the vet for my previous cat that died of cancer. I wouldn't think of bringing my cats to anyone else.

My cat had blood in his urine. The hospital was very accommodating when I had difficulty getting the cat into his carrier, and they gave me a later appointment. When I finally got my cat to the hospital, the doctor correctly diagnosed the problem, a bladder stone, and, later that week, another doctor successfully performed the surgery to remove it. Everyone was professional and caring. My cat is fine. The facility is new and clean.

I really want to stress how great this veterinary clinic is. I go out of my way to go here. The whole staff is attentive and kind. You get personalized attention here. I also appreciate that they don't nickel and dime you. They are completely honest and very responsive to any questions I have. The vets are clinically experts. They even send a personalized bereavement card when one of your pets dies and then they donate some money to Cornell in your pet's name. This is above and beyond what is normal for a veterinary clinic.

This is a good, basic veterinarian. The staff is nice and professional on the phone, and you can get an appointment within a week or so. It seems a little expensive to me (over $200 per cat for a regular check-up), but they are very thorough and the vets are good about answering all your questions. I wish the waiting room was bigger, or they had separate areas for cats and dogs, since my cats are scared witless by all the dog commotion.

The vets at West Chelsea have taken care of my dog since she was a puppy (she is now 6), and I feel like they have done a great job! They spayed her when she was younger , and one time they pulled an infected tooth. They also took care of a visiting elderly cocker spaniel that came down with pancreatitis. I have total faith in them.

THE SERVICE AT WEST CHELSEA ANIMAL HOSPITAL HAS EXCELLENT CARE FOR ANIMALS. WE DID NOT HAVE ANY PROBLEMS WITH THE FACILITY OR ANY OF THE PEOPLE WORKING THERE. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM.

THIS HOSPITAL IS VERY CLEAN AND THE DOCTORS AND NURSES ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL. THEY GIVE YOU GOOD MEDICAL ADVICE FOR YOUR PET. OUR DOG ISN'T EAGER TO GO, BUT WILL GO WITHOUT TO MUCH HASSLE.

THIS COMPANY IS VERY PROFESSIONAL. THEY ARE A BUNCH OF WARM AND CARING ANIMAL LOVERS. THEY ARE VERY WILLING TO DO COMPLETELY DIFFERENT ALTERNATE CHOICES. THEIR FACILITIES ARE CLEAN AND I REALLY LIKE THEM.

IT WAS GREAT. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND GOT ALONG WITH MY PETS VERY WELL. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE, BUT I WOULD LET THEM KNOW THAT THE PRICE IS A LITTLE HIGH, BUT NOT BAD. I HAVE NEVER HAD ANY MAJOR PROBLEMS WITH THEM.

THE PROFESSIONALISM VARIES BETWEEN DOCTORS AT THE LOCATION. THEY HAVE MORE THAN ONE DOCTOR. THE FIRST TIME I WENT, I WAS VERY PLEASED. THE SECOND TIME IT WAS SOMEONE WHO SEEMED TO BE NEW AT IT. THEY ARE VERY RESPONSIVE IN TERMS OF AN EMERGENCY.
