Veterinarians
I have been going to them about 5 years. They are very friendly and professional. The staff is really warm and they care about your pets. The entire staff is great. They will fit you in. Fourth of July weekend I called them for an emergency and they were able to squeeze me in. They will call back when I need a prescription. I will call in the morning and they will call right away to let me know to pick it up.

Not so good.
2 misdiagnosis. $2000 in fees for the misdiagnosis. And ultimately the dog had to be put to sleep.
My dog wouldn't eat and had mouth pain. He lost 13 lbs in a month.
They told me that the dog needed a dental cleaning and some extractions.
This would solve the pain
The cost was about $1200. They offerred to take off a fatty depost for an extra 250 bucks
I said yes
They anethitzed the dog, cleaned his teeth, but decided that all of the teeth were bad
and they decided not to pull any.
The fatty deposit was removed with no problem.
The problem was not solved so back I go. They now say that my dog has a
salivary gland infection. So they gave me antibiotics. A week goes by and that did nothing.
When both diagnosis were wrong, I was upset because they did not solved the problem and wtih
tests dental etc I was out 2000 bucks. I lost my temper with them because i was out 2000 bucks and the
dog was still in pain and getting worse not better.
I went to the emergency vet. They did some tests. My dog had cancer of the lymph nodes.
And in a month lost 13 lbs and had to be put to sleep. I've had my dog over 13 years and
of course i was devastated.
I asked Uptown Vets to put him to sleep. They wanted over $400 for this.
I said can you please match the price of ASPCA of 200? They said no. I hd to go the ASPCA
I had been going to this Vet for two years now. Dr Sullivan and Dr Obermisser
seem very nice. They seem to genuinely like animals however they like to add tests
and tests and tests that you don't really need and visit ends up being 500 for something really simple.
The misdiagnosis of my dog really concern me and when Dr. Sullivan was stumped she called another vet outside of the office for advice.
To add insult to injury, since they are so close to me I called them to answer a question about a pet I was thinking of
adopting and James (who I never met) told me that they wanted me to use another vet because I lost my temper in their office
about the misdiagnosis and the overcharging. .

Overall I had a very good experience with Dr. Obernesser and her staff. If it's an emergency, she will try to make time to see you. She ended up having to come to my apartment on her lunch hour and euthanized my cat in the home, which made the experience much less stressful for me and the cat.
