Tom and his team were a delight to work with. They showed up on time, kept a neat work site, communicated effectively and came in on time and within budget for my 2 BR/2 BA co-op gut renovation. Tom takes his work seriously and makes sure all issues are resolved to the clientâ s satisfaction. He is extremely fair with pricing and was accountable when anything did go wrong. The workmanship is of good quality and Tom stands by his work, returning after completion to fix things. I wholeheartedly recommend Tom and his team!

Tom's of Manhattan did an extensive renovation of my apartment. Tom and his staff were extremely professional. The work was completed within the timeframe specified and came in at the agreed upon budget. I would highly recommend Tom and his crew to anyone doing a home renovation.

My Central Park South apartment renovation was completely in Tom's hands since I don't live full time in NYC. We converted a one bedroom into a 2 bedroom, gutted and renovated the kitchen , 2 full bathrooms, and closets, replaced flooring and repainted the entire apartment. Tom's project management style and communication is very professional. Whenever possible, he found a more economical way to do things without jeopardizing quality. He has resources for every need including clearing out and donating any item. He sent me photos to make decisions from and also of the progress being made. Tom is trustworthy, organized, and grounded and makes home renovating easy.

Thrilled my apartment got a complete face lift! Kitchen cabinets and entire apartment were painted in addition to years of minor issues corrected and fixed (doors rehung, cracks fixed, etc.). I couldn't be happier with the results. Tom and his crew were professional, trustworthy and paid attention to the details of all my requests. You're in good hands.

Hiring Tom and Roger is one of the best decisions I've ever made! I was introduced to Tom and Roger when I discovered a mice problem in my apartment that my building (the handymen, super, and others) tried but was unable to fix. (Tom and Roger were recommended by an architect friend who hired them for his own apartment.) Tom and Roger came in with gusto: they heard my concerns, understood the problem, took it to heart, and treated it like it was their own. They got to work exploring my apartment, leaving no surface or crevice unexplored. They found holes that the building had missed. They sealed everything, even the tiniest holes. They never once played down the problem or disregarded it as something unimportant - rather, they approached it with complete seriousness and even spoke with an exterminator to make sure that they were caring for it to the utmost degree (they even made suggestions like putting all of my dried goods in the fridge as to not leave a single stone unturned that could continue to attract mice). Ultimately, they solved the problem (when no one else had!)....and it was clear that they wouldn't stop in my apartment until the entire problem was addressed and done. I really appreciated that they came in with such a thorough and holistic approach. I loved working with them so much that I hired Tom and Roger to work on a bunch of other tasks in my home (sealing floorboards, caulking the tub, fixing grout in the kitchen and bathroom, fixing up a home office, staining the deck, insulating around the radiator, and so so much more - I had a long list!). The items were each different and they knew how to do them all. There is nothing that these guys can't do! Everything that Tom and Roger worked on was done with great care and attention to detail. They firmly believe that any work should be done by these principles - it's part of what makes them stand apart from the rest. To boot, they are lovely people! It was truly joyful working and having conversations with/getting to know them while we were in the apartment together. Working with Tom and Roger was one of the best customer service experiences I have ever had. Every day, they showed up early (early!) for the job. Throughout the day, they checked in to ensure that my list of priorities was being met (even at the end of the day, they didn't leave without checking that they had tended to my priorities.) I appreciated how they continually made the effort to ensure that we were exactly on the same page. I never felt rushed. I always felt heard. Truly, working with both Tom and Roger was nothing but wonderful. My only regret is that I don't have more jobs to give them - the experience was so great that I wish I could keep working with them! It goes without saying that I will work with Tom and Roger again in a heartbeat (in fact, they're the only contractors I ever want to work with moving forward!) and recommend them without hesitation to my closest friends (in fact, I already have!). Hire Tom and Roger - your experience will be the best and your home will look gorgeous. You will be so SO happy that you went with them!

Tom Sherman , owner, and his crew were professional and very service oriented. I was pleased with their work in every respect. Our experience with Tom, Frankie and Yanni was just amazing. This was the first time we had gone through Home Adviser, so we weren?t really sure what to expect. From Day 1 they all made us feel incredibly comfortable. They provided the most excellent service and always had suggestions on how to make things better. We are incredibly happy with everything they did. I am convinced there is nothing they can?t do. Look no further, if you need construction, redesign, water proofing, electric work or anything else you can think of. Their follow through and attention to detail is impeccable. They spent a little over three weeks with us and we really miss having them here! We had a really wonderful experience, end to end and we are making plans for future engagement.

Tom & Frank made my NYC apartment feel like new! Removed a very old mirrored wall, sealed and white washed my brick wall and it looks incredible! Very efficient and flexible with any need that came up. Will always be my go-to for any remodeling!

We just upgraded a bath, last remodeled in the early 90s, which involved retiling the shower and the floor of the main bath, installation of new sink and countertop and recessing a formerly flush mounted medicine cabinet. We are delighted with the results, and were particularly impressed with the care given to protecting the apartment during the work, and the clean-up afterward. Tom and Frank are a pleasure to work with and we recommend them without hesitation.

Tom and Frank were awesome!! They were great start to finish. They showed up on time every day, and you could tell they take their work very seriously. They worked on installing a new kitchen, built a bookcase, wallpapering, paint, and a lot of other miscellaneous items. Tom and Frank paid great attention to details and didn't leave until they made sure everything was 100% done.

Responsible, flexible, personable

Tom and Frank were incredible start to finish. So communicative, patient and hardworking. They got the job done seamlessly AND were so nice to work with. I needed help tearing down a 900sq ft pop up shop in Soho and returning it to a perfect white box for the next tenants and they did just that! Would hire them again and again and again!

These guys were honest, hardworking, cared about their work and doing the best job possible- which they did. They were considerate and respectful of me living in the apartment during renovation and thoroughly cleaned up each evening. (They were also very nice to my pets.) Most importantly I felt I could trust and rely on them performing work as outlined- and they delivered on that and then some... Their 'touch ups' included finishing touches on work they performed as well as little things that needed correction. They left my apartment in neater condition than when they started! I would 100% recommend them to others and I hope this review conveys that.

Tom Sherman was prompt, professional, pleasant and cared about doing the job right. It was a small job, installing a hallway light and 2 under cabinet lights but I never felt that it got short shrift. He also seemed happy to answer my questions by phone after he had already been paid and left the premises.

I wanted to remove a built-in and paint before I moved into my new place. Tom was easy to reach and incredibly professional. My walls were lumpy and a complete mess before he started and you would never know. He is meticulous, and you can see it in the final result. I could not be happier.
