"Dear Customer, I am sorry you experienced this. Please know that every Maid Service experiences poor service at times mainly because the Workers are in your home alone while the Mangement is in an office somewhere. Sometimes a Worker who generally gets compliments on his/her service can have an off day in which their performance is not as good as usual (tired, late, etc) after all, we sell human service which is hard to perfect. This is why we have a service guarantee. Have you tried calling us to let us know immediately that these areas were missing? We would have been happy to send someone over to get the areas missed."
"Dear Member, Thank you for your review. Byron is usually a pretty good cleaner but may have not had his best foot forward that day. Have you tried calling us? Our service guarantee allows us to come back to correct details missed. The Gender suggestion is a very good one, unfortunately, it's hard to ask Customers about that over the phone since discrimination laws would accuse us of promoting or giving preference to a certain sex. I will reconsider your suggestion about the Gender thing though because it can be surprising. While Customers can request a specific sex, Dept of Labor, does not allow us to make those suggestions over the phone. I will however, call the Dept of Labor and see if they will at least allow us to use some appropriate wording on our website so Customers are more aware. Thank you."
"Dear Member, I tried to look into your account to see if you had reported these issues, to see if we had the chance to correct them. I could not find you. Did you use a different name?"
"I have to say that this post is true. It's unfortunate that our Customer went through this, but we did everything we could to make amends. One thing I have to point out is the command of English of our Maids. In the Maid Service industry in NYC, It seems that most of the applicants for work are people who do not speak a very proper English even though we only hire Workers who can work here legally. It's very common for the best Workers to speak an imperfect English because the ones that do speak a great English tend to leave the house cleaning business before they are able to excel at it knowing they have many more doors open to them job-wise. Therefore when faced with 2 applicants; one with excellent and extensive hosuecleaning experience and a more permanent desire to remain employed with us vs a Person who speaks excellent English who may only be looking to work as a House Cleaning Worker temporarily until something easier like a desk job comes along, we will usually hire the one who has better cleaning skills and more retention potential because in the end the work quality is more important in this case. This is not to say we don't also have some Employees who do speak very good English. We do however, hire all Bi-Lingual Cutomer Service Reps to assist with this, so all a Customer has to do is call us and use us as Interpreters or do the walk-through with us on their speaker. We do this all the time for our Customers and we prefer it that way since it keeps us in the loop of how they like things and allows our Customer Care Reps the chance to make usueful notes in Customer's accounts as to how they like things to include in future work orders and monitor their Worker's cleanings better."
