The Lavender Locksmith

I love my locks!!! I know that sounds funny, but there is nothing better than coming inside after a long day and moving each lock until it clicks into place. It's a small moment that helps me shift from the outside world to my sanctuary. I am very careful about who comes into my space, so when I found Lauren I knew that I would be comfortable letting her help me. She listened to my concerns and it was very easy to explain what I wanted the locks to do for me. She is extremely knowledgeable about locks etc. but she was also very keen to listen to what I actually wanted. Installing a lock can be an emotional process for people sometimes. It often comes after there has been a shift in their life and they are deciding how to respond. I wanted to add a lock that could be engaged from the inside, but without a keyhole on the outside, because I need to know that when I am inside, nobody has a copy of that key, because there is no key. She added that to my exterior door without questioning my logic, because I think she understands that although it's about keeping things physically safe, it's always really about the customer's perception of their safety. I would definitely call Lauren again because she is professional, responsible, respectful and cooperative, but also fun and it's clear that she enjoys the work.

Lauren did an amazing job. Installing a smart lock on top of an existing deadbolt lock on a NYC door is not an easy feat and it even requires custom made parts. Couldn’t recommend more!
