We are a Bed Bug Inspection organization that employs the use of nationally trained canine teams as well some of New York City's top bed bug inspectors. Since 2009 we have performed over 6000 inspections for residential clients and have worked with the region's top pest control firms, hotels/motels, property management companies. We were New York's first independent NESDCA certified Bed Bug Dog Inspection Company and can offer you an unbiased assessment of your problem.

I had looked up the company online, because I had been warned that some companies may sent uncertified dogs, with unreliable results, and had seen that they had a certified dog named Freedom, so I agreed to this inspection by this company. They came with an extremely sluggish looking, totally disinterested dog, whom the handler called Cruise, which barely responded to commands and did not alert anywhere in my or (I was told) in the surrounding apartments.
I complained to the provider, and insisted on a redo, which I have to say, in fairness, they did, on 8/7/2015. This time, they sent Freedom, who promptly alerted to several places on my bedframe. No report was given to me at first, but it was finally sent upon my insistence (I have copies of both reports).
So you want to be sure, with this company, that they actually send you the certified dog.
"In the service business we understand that we will never make everyone happy. We strive to and take our business and dogs seriously. We treat all of our problem calls/customers with the utmost importance. Which is why this review is somewhat unsettling as we performed the service on 9/13 and this is the first time we are being made aware of a problem with the inspection. I normally don’t respond to reviews but felt necessary on this one as your harsh words could hurt my family and the families of everyone who works for me. We quoted you a price, at your request as we did a service for your family member. Since your home is about an hour past where we normally travel we charged a little extra for the travel time, which you accepted. Why you gave us an F for price is beyond me? As for an F for responsiveness, this is also quite a stretch. You called on 9/12 and we were at your home on 9/13 before 10 AM (so maybe change that F to an A++++ and say thank you for being amazing!). As for an F for professionalism the woman who went you your home has done hundreds of inspections for me over the past few years and is quite possibly one of the sweetest women you could ever meet. If she was really that bad I wish you would have called me the next day so I could have spoken with her about how a customer felt she gave them “F type” service. As for the smell of a dog, I am not sure how to handle this one? I was not there and I am assuming my handler was being polite when being told her dog smelled? As I see it we were called in to perform an inspection for bed bugs. We did our inspection which we have us being there for 35 min, you have 10 min (this was two months ago so not much I can do about it now). We gave you clearance and peace of mind that was RIGHT! We said you did not have bed bugs and you did not! But since the customer is always right I will say this… Sorry you were unhappy with the price, Sorry about a dog smelling (it’s possible for a multitude of reasons, but be rest assured all of our dogs are groomed regularly and see their doctors more regularly than we do), Sorry we could not be there sooner and we appreciate your compliment for being punctual.
