I wanted to put some lights in my living room that would shine on a certain place and I had no clue as to how to do it. I figured an electrician would know how to put them in but he wouldn't figure out what way or what was pretty or what looked good. So I just called up in the phone book lighting designers and I talk to a few of them. That's what they do, they figure out what's going to work good for you what's going to look good. They know what is around and they work with these people that sell them wholesale and they just figure out, They work with architects and things like that. I like her work a lot.I would say you should meet her and tell her what your problem is and she'll show you some ideas and stuff and you can see if she is the type of the person who sees what you want and if you like what she does then she'll draw up a contract for you and you'll see where you are. People see different things and they don't see eye to eye all the time. I think when it comes to design work it is different than getting a plumber.
