Took a deposit for some paving work and never bothered to show up.  Took him to small claims court and he didn't show up there, either.  I got a default judgement and only then did I learn the terrible truth about this con man.  He has MILLIONS in outstanding judgements against him (and his father) resulting from shoddy work and outright scamming.  STAY AWAY!

Absolute NIGHTMARE. I wish I had heard about Angie's List beforehand and seen the previous complaint against him before I hired him. He showed up the first two weeks and finished doing the priming and painting work, but that was about it. He also replaced the kitchen floor, but I made him re-do the work since he didn't level it as he was supposed to. That's where things took a serious turn for the worse. Despite having "overpaid" him on the total amount for the job (because I canceled the windows, after he failed to order them two months later), he refused to show up without another payment! We argued for months before I told him not to come back. He only finished around 1/3 of the job, yet he took all my money. He will seem very friendly, etc, until he gets your money and never returns. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. I am forced to take him to court over this. I can't fit the whole story here, contact me and I'd be happy to tell you more.

I also paid him $2500 for a job at my Mother's, she's 90 years old and all he did there was change a faucet in the bathroom and disappear. No shame. This guy's . . . I have to put it mildly: NOT RELIABLE! WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND NOT DO THE WORK. WILL DO SO MUCH DAMAGE, YOU'LL HAVE TO RE-DO IT AT GREATER EXPENSE. He's full of baloney.
