Roma's Custom Tailor

Roma himself is an excellent tailor, as I know from past experience, but he's not really there anymore.  Instead, a young guy with what I took to be an Eastern European accent waited on me.  He was a nice guy but really could not understand English very well.  He didn't really understand what I wanted done, although it should have been obvious to a real tailor -- just fix the jacket so that it fits me properly.  When I asked him to fix wrinkles in the upper back, he had no idea what I was talking about.  I asked him if he or Roma would be doing the work, and he said he would be doing it but he would ask Roma what to do.  This was not a good sign.  Then I asked when Roma would be in, and he said he didn't know, "He comes when he wants."  In the end, I took my jacket back and decided to find another tailor.
I get the idea that Roma isn't really involved in the business anymore but instead entrusts it to someone who isn't qualified.  Therefore I don't recommend using him anymore.

Roma, the tailor, was great. He had me come back for a second fitting for the jackets to make sure the shoulders and sleeves were just right. His finishing is superb.

The owner was the only one I saw there. He is very nice. He marked the alterations and I had the jacket back in a week. I think he did a great job. I could have found someone less expensive but, with all he did, I thought the price was fair, although some have noted that he is a little more expensive than they had hoped.

Excellent work. It was a tough fix/alteration, but they not only did it perfectly but also very fast (less than 1 week). A bit pricey, but worth it to get good work and fast.

He had to do some very fine tailoring. The dress looks amazing like it was made for me. It fits me perfectly. While he was expensive the job was done perfectly.

Mr Roma measured, gave feedback and asked when I needed alterations to be completed? We agreed on 1 week and when I picked up they were ready.

Located on 2nd floor (not to be confused with the dry cleaner store at street level). Returned finished work in less than a week.
