We hired Roger from Renovation Plus to combine two NYC apartments. His bid was very competitive to begin with, but stood out for being most detailed and transparent about responsibilities. Roger set a work schedule and stuck to it. He kept us informed with frequent calls and site visits, and offered creative suggestions to options as they presented themselves. Roger and his team worked well with all of the people whose cooperation was needed along the way (this is NYC, after all, and saboteurs are everywhere!). The final cost matched the bid, with zero surprises â all additional expenses (and they were small) were fully explained and agreed upon in advance. Roger's professionalism, craftsmanship, and â no dramaâ demeanor made the process smooth. We're thrilled with the result and highly recommend him!

Roger Peter Navarra completely renovated our condo in NYC living in 800 miles away while work was being done. I had complete trust in his ability to do the work while out of town. He was in complete contact with me the entire time. The work being done being done was impeccable I will recommended him to anyone I know. He has become like family to me and my faith in him and his ability to do what is needed.

Roger Navarro took a mess of an apartment and made it into a beauty. We worked together to pick out the features of the apartment. His advice helped me to see what was the best way of repairing all of the damages that accumulated over the years. Without his help I would not know what to do. If you want an expert in renovation use Renovation Plus for the restoration of your property. After the work was completed we received many compliments about the work that was done to the apartment. I wish that I had another apartment for Renovation Plus to repair.

We hired RPCG (its subcontractors Do It Right Tile & Stone & Globe Plumbing Heating/EVA Mechanical Pipe) for a bathroom renovation. We trusted the reviews on this site & can�t believe this is the same company. Those reviewers must be paid endorsers or blood relatives. We won�t use Home Advisor again. RPCG left us without toilet, sink or shower in our 1 bath apt. for >8 weeks. We considered firing RPCG more than once & sought legal advice before resigning to the fact that it would triple the cost of our renovation, risk a lien on our home, & delay the project�s completion by 2-3 additional months. No renovation goes smoothly� especially in NYC. We expected some pain & a degree of incremental expense. Any NYC contractor should certainly be prepared & have the professionalism & wherewithal to manage the unexpected with capability, honesty & grace. In our experience, R.N. of RPCG had problems with communication, attitude & possibly ethics. He put too much focus on his time & his bottom line. He collected checks promptly & did much else poorly. We felt backed into corners, bullied into hefty up-charges. He said: �Let me tell you how this works�(what we asked for) is not what�s going to happen. (What R.N. wanted) is what�s going to happen, because that�s just how this business is done, & you're lucky I�m not charging you more for it.� He once said he was not responsible for his subcontractors. He said it cost $1,700 & took and 10 days for copies of a plumber�s COI & license & that this was standard industry practice. We have this in writing. It is untrue. He wrote our estimate with a scope & dollar amount, then sent a contract with the same scope & dollar amount BUT with new language RE: the plumber slipped in that meant > $4,000 more. We asked for costs of TBD items on the original scope & �ad hoc� items as we went along but R.N. ignored us then gouged us with high up-charges after work was done. In one instance he implied use of a specific high end product & application method then used a lesser product w/ 30 min. application & charged us for a top product & a day�s work. RPCG subcontracted GP&H/EVA MP for plumbing. The man on site was not the man whose license was submitted to our building. He also created a crisis with a neighbor & our Super by refusing to take advice about our building�s construction�causing costly repairs for our building & a delay of nearly 2 months that put us thousands over budget. He wanted us to pay for his "lost time" then charged us 12X the published cost of materials after the fact. RPCG subcontracted DIRT'S for everything else. They often showed up 1-3 hrs. late & twice not at all�without notice. They showed without all the tools needed to do the job then borrowed & damaged ours. They wasted, lost or removed from the job site materials that we supplied independently. We had to re-purchase over $1,500 in materials. They chipped the sink and installed it� tried to hide the chip. I found unused SPECIAL ORDER tiles w

We located Roger Navarra's Renovation Plus online and hired his company to remodel our bathroom. He and his staff were professional, hardworking, and courteous, and the results were excellent. It was no doubt a challenging job since the post-demolition work required rebuilding the walls and floor, removing the tub and building a glass-shower stall that had to conform to an odd space that included a window. The tiles, fixtures, paint all turned out gorgeous and the bathroom is now lovely to behold and is very user-friendly. Thank you, Roger and your staff, for a job well done!
