Positive Pest Management

We had a mouse problem, called these guys and got billed $200 for basically zero results. 
Basically the guy came and told me he really couldn't do anything - and blamed our cabinets. Couldn't provide this service or recommend anyone who could.  While I'm sure he's right, I didn't feel there was any effort to actually help resolve the pest problem, just found an excuse to not do the work.  
 After twisting his arm he put down some glue traps and poison, but this hardly did anything.  And then charged me $200.  Now I have more mice than ever and am starting from scratch with another contractor/exterminator :/
Nice enough guys and prompt, but if you hire an exterminator - you want the problem removed and we got zero results.

The company was great.  I called early in the morning because my problem started to come out and it was nasty.  I left a message and they returned my call in a few hours.  They quoted me a price and I had to have these beetles gone because my kids were freaking out so I agreed to it.  First they said that someone could respond by 5pm.  I was okay with that.  Leah, the person I was dealing with on the phone was so nice and she kept putting me on hold to find out if someone else could respond sooner.  She finally found a guy nearby, Larry, who could respond to me by 11:30am.  Awesome.  Larry called me to get directions to my house and was pleasant and respectful on the phone.  He got to my house and Larry and I hit it off well.  What a great guy.  Good head on his shoulders, very caring and responsive to my situation.  He couldn't say what beetle I had but said that he will find out for me and get back to me in a day or two.  He listened to my concerns and then explained to me what he was going to do and where he was going to spray.  He was very careful with my household things while spraying.  He was a pleasure to talk with.  Larry was very professional and did an excellent job representing the company he was proud to work for.  I would definitely call the company again.  I can say within an hour or two after Larry left, any beetle I found was dead or dying.  My war with these little pain in the butts are over thanks to Larry and Positive Pest Management.  Thank you Leah also for being so nice and helpful.  Positive Pest Management is very lucky to have such devoted people working for them.

He went downstairs and confirmed that I do not have termites or beetles. The wood damage in my basement was from a pipe installation. But he did tell me I have a very bad moisture problem. He suggested using a de-humidifier. He called me later that day with more information on how to lower the moisture in my basement. He didn't make any problems that would cost me money. He was most nice. I would recommend him highly.

I trust this company. They told me I did NOT have bed bugs when it would have been easy to fool me and treat the house. Good business.

I was experiencing roach infestation and found out that the living room area had bedbugs. This is where my sister was sleeping. She was getting bit up all over. I called and spoke to Bennett of Positive Pest Management. He explained the procedures and suggested following a clear checklist to help before the actual exterminating procedure took place. I recall Bennett saying that after Positive Pest exterminates, usually it is a one time deal and the bedbugs don't come back. I felt that this was what I wanted to hear and his track record spoke for itself. I called many times to ask questions and to make sure I was following protocol. He was very patient and pleasant to deal with and talk with. I was glad for his assistance and any advice he could offer. The pricing is reasonable. I called other exterminating companies and found they charged more. The exterminator was on time and explained what he would do and listed the products he was using. He eradicated the problem and so far, so good. I haven't seen one critter as yet and I'm hoping it stays this way!!!

They were great. They were professional and came when they were supposed to come. They left extra materials and it was a good experience. I would use them again.

Mr. Pearlman carefully explained the steps we needed to do to prepare for the treatment and why they were necessary. They were extensive but clear. He was available for any questions I had and very reassuring that the problem would be resolved. His technician was professional and helpful. Upon his departure, we have not seen any live bugs (only dead). We did follow his instruction to caulk the entire apt. and insert plug protectors. We did not use his recommended person for this as we employed our superintendent for the work. We received quotes from others at double this price, but were pleased we went with Positive Pest Mgmt.
