Polished Apple

About the beginning of April, when I picked up my phone there was a metal object that was coming out of the where the charger goes.  I was frantic because although Apple is quite close by, it is the waiting time, the being told to leave the phone for a week and although they are perfectly nice, I I am handicapped and have to have my phone 12/7.  Someone told me about Polished Apples and I went in thinking that it was worth the effort.  When I showed the phone to the woman at the desk, she looked at it and immediately took the object out using her long nails.  It was a piece of one of my chargers.  I asked how much I owned and she smiled and said ?Nothing?. 

I realized that my phone wasn?t holding a charged and that I really needed a new battery and for some reason the phone never went in the sleep mode.  I decided that rather than going to Apple I would go back to the quiet of Polished Apple.  Again, the store was not in chaos, when I explained my problem she took the phone to the back and she said I was right it needed a new battery and they could do it right away.  Five minutes later I had a new battery and the fixed the setting for the sleep mode.  

I do not know what Apple would have charged me, I think probably more, but it was not the price, it was the courtesy, it was not waiting on line to be called, it also was not chaotic.

Polished Apple also sells reconditioned phones, tablets etc.  And, I may drop in again and look at one of the tablets that they have for sale. Polished Apple is a fabulous find!
