I have been working with Pampered Pets since 5/18. I found them after I stopped working with another Bergen County service for almost 2 years (initials DD - they were a disappointing service because of the multiple walkers that they use and the lack of willingness to work with my small dogs that are not an easy breed). Using Pampered Pets has been life changing. I feel more at peace. I have been so pleased with them. They listen to you about your dogs needs and work with you. My senior dogs have specific needs and the previous service did not want to listen to that. Instead they had their own policy, eventually requiring that I crate them for 6-8 hours a day before the walker showed . With Pampered Pets, I don't need to do that. The value is great and my dogs seem so much happier now. I am so glad that I am working with Pampered Pets.

It went great. Yvette, the business manager, was very helpful in making arrangements. Lynn, our sitter, took special care to not only feed Joey and watch over him but played with him regularly (he is tireless) and left me daily notes with details about how he behaved while we were gone.

We love Pampered Pets, who we've had walking our dog for about two years.  They take excellent care of our dog, who is not the easiest dog to deal with.  Arthur, who does most of the walks, genuinely loves our dog, and our dog loves him.  In fact, all of their walkers seem to really love dogs.  They're extremely reliable, very flexible and easy to deal with on scheduling, and we trust them totally.  Alan, who we deal with in the office, is a pleasure to work with, works hard to meet our requests, and is very organized.  Their payment system is easy and accurate.

We have used Pampered Pets for the past 2 years for our dog's mid-day walk. They are very reliable, and our dog walker Sefra is excellent.  She loves dogs and my dog goes nuts every time she walks through the door.  She is very punctual, consistent, and reliable.  I love that they leave a daily note to let us know how our dog did on her walk.  Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a consistent dog-walking service.

Every single time it went like a breeze.  They tried to give me the same person each time and mostly succeeded.  Each time I came home I found a long note detailing every day of their visits and what they dd and how much they loved my cat.  They gave me details that indicated they had indeed been there for a length of time and had come to know my cat's particular traits well.  She was always in very good shape when I came home.  I even forgot to call them once until the day before I was leaving for 10 days and they had me covered with no problem.  I recommend them highly and will use them whenever I have a need.

It's great.  We use them a lot. 

One of the biggest reasons that I chose Pampered Pets is that they have a team of dog walkers so if my primary dog walker is unavailable, there's always a back-up. This is a huge help for someone that has a really busy schedule. They are also extremely thorough - taking note of all of my dog's needs from medication, food, toys, etc. I do think that they're a little bit more expensive than other services that I've looked into, and certainly more than an independent dog walker might be but their service is tremendous. Note that if the above question was on "value" and not "price", I would have no problem giving them an A.

My review for Pampered Pets is delayed, but they are amazing, so want to share.  I've used their services on two occasions; Both times were for less than a week.  The petsitter would come once a day to feed, play, give medicine, and clean up after my two cats.  The girl they sent both times (can't remember name) was truly amazing with my boys.  My oldest kitty is a bit of a special needs kitty, and giving him medicine usually intimidates everyone other than me.  She never had any problem giving him meds, which I was not expecting. Right away, I felt like both of my cats would be in good hands with Pampered Pets while I was away. Even when I was out of the country, they still sent me daily updates, which is great for a nervous and worried mom.
Aside from the sitter, I have to say that Jane (owner) is AMAZING and very helpful on all cat matters.  She has recommended great vets on the UES upon moving there from downtown and even this week I thought to call her to ask for a referral for a low cost vet to spay a cat that I am fostering (and now adopting).  The shelter who helped me pull my foster from the ACC recommended a few low end clinics that had horrible reviews, and I was at a loss as to where to comfortably bring her.  Jane came to mind, and she happily spent a significant amount of time referring a few doctors (one I went with at the Humane Society).  
Overall, like  a lot of animal parents, I am super super super hesitant to put my two boy (and now girl) in the hands of anyone else, but I can honestly say that I love this company and that I highly recommend.  Get to know Jane when you call because her advice will come in handy!  It's worth spending a little extra for their excellent service.  I can't say enough great things about them!

I used Pampered Pets exclusively when I lived on the Upper West Side.  I felt like I was leaving them with their favorite aunt when I had to go away.  The service is thorough.  The owners of the service ask ALL questions that you would want them to ask.  They keep excellent records.  The person who came to care for my cats (4) was exceptional.  I am positive that when I came home from my trips and opened my front door that the cats expected to see Ingrid, and they seemed a bit disappointed that it was me instead!  She is that wonderful.
They were able to administer medication to one of my cats without any problem.  If you have something more involved, like hydration for an older animal, I believe that they have vet techs on staff that can do that.  They will call you, every day if you need them to, to tell you about how your pets are doing.  They also once saved me from a disasterous stay at the airport.  I was unaware of a late March snow storm that had closed LaGuardia.  They called me to tell me that they had already scheduled Ingrid for an extra day with my pets! 
So they are fantastic. 

Very easy/short call then in house meeting to meet the cat and see my apartment...daily phone updates and a note at the end made me feel very secure...cat was very happy upon my return and I would definitely use the service again, everything was completed per my wishes and you can tell they really care about the cats!

The sitter was excellent, could not have been better.  She really liked my 2 Russian Blues  very much, enjoyed caring for them and made them feel comfortable during my long absence.  My 7 month old male requires  a lot of play and my 1 year old female, a lot of affection. Russians are sensitive and emotional cats.   Both were calm and in good condition when I returned.  Because of "Sandy", my bedroom/bath/hallway had no light, so the last visit each day required extra effort.  Pampered Pets sent me email updates twice a week.  I really missed my cats and worried because this was the first time they were without me.  All went well.

My wife and I were immediately impressed by the professionalism of Pampered Pets over the phone. Our first contact (with Jane) showed their superb knowledge of cats and keen attention to our cat's specific habits and personality. We knew our cat would "be in good hands!" After the first meeting with our sitter, we continued to admire and appreciate the level of personal care and concern to our situation. The sitter was not just interested in taking care of our cat, but in learning to develop a trusting relationship with her!
When we returned from our brief trip, we saw how neatly and cleanly the work had been done and how happy our cat was. The final grace note was the beautifully written report of the various visits and progress with our cat left for us by the cat sitter.

We've been using Pampered Pets for several years and have always been pleased with their courteous and professional services.  Especially the personalized note detailing how our cat(s) were while we were away.  We started using the service when we had 2 cats and one needed to be medicated (and you needed to keep an eye out for cat sick in the apartment).  Cleaning cat mess and fighting to stuff a pill down a cat throat was more than we could ask our neighbor!  But Pampered Pets did that for us, and, because we asked, left us daily reports about how the sick cat was doing.  Pampered Pets has also been available for last minute bookings -- we've had to travel recently without much advance notice, which can cause some stress.  But we were comforted to know that our surviving (and now elderly) cat would be well taken care of in our absence.

We were very happy with the overall experience as well as the details attended to throughout our trip.

The sitters have always been very professional and leave the house exactly as we left it.  I would definitely recommend them.  The yare very thorough and thoughtful when it comes to individualizing your pet's care.

Best petsitting service we've ever used, and we've lived all around the country.  Not only did they take fantastic care of our cats, they were excellent communicators, so we never felt that moment of panic when you wonder if the pet sitters will arrive on the right days, etc.  They even noticed that one or both of our cats was drinking more water than expected.  We took the cats to the vet, and one of them was diagnosed with early stage kidney disease.  I am so grateful Pampered Pets noticed the water issue because it definitely improved the quality of life for our sick cat, and probably extended her life, too.

I was happy with the service. Everyone I spoke to was very personable and I got a nice note from the carer when I got home. They do need to modernize their communications - there is no email option, they still use fax! But overall very happy with the service they provided and I have booked them a second time.

They are always great.  When we are travelling, they take care of our cat who needs regular medication.  They always do a good job, provide a detailed report, and, when we get home, we have a happy and healthy cat.

My experience with Pampered Pets was excellent. Our usual sitter had fallen through about a week before Thanksgiving, and Pampered Pets was able to arrange for our cats to be taken care of without a problem. The owner spoke with me on the phone for about 30 minutes to do a very thorough intake regarding our cats' food preferences, any medical issues, favorite toys, contact information for their vet in case of emergency, etc. One of our cats as asthma, and I appreciated that they had experience dealing with this issue before and were comfortable giving our cat his daily pill and administering his inhaler in the event that he had an attack during the visit. She also recommended a vet who might be able to prescribe a better treatment for his condition than our current vet. At the end of the intake, we set up an appointment for our sitter to come by the house so we could meet her, show her where to find food, toys, and medicine, see her interact with the cats, and make sure that we were comfortable with her. The visit went very well--sitter was courteous, professional, and clearly liked the cats. When we returned after our trip, the cats were well fed and happy, litter box was clean, and we found a very nice note detailing her interactions with them. This is a genuinely excellent service. It's hard to find people you trust to take care of your pets, in your home, and Pampered Pets was a great find.

They are always professional and punctual,and their work is of the highest quality. They take time to play with the cats, they call if there are any questions or concerns whatsoever, and they leave the place meticulous. Newspapers are taken in and stacked neatly, plants are watered, no hairballs anywhere. They are pricey, but I feel much better knowing that our cats are in the hands of mature professionals.

Pampered Pets has looked after our kitties frequently for more than a year, anywhere from one day to over a week at a time. They are very meticulous and professional, taking great care to ensure they have all the necessary information about our pets' needs each time we call. We always feel comfortable trusting our pets AND our home to the reliable staff Alan and Jane employ. The peace of mind is well worth the cost.

They're fabulous. They go above and beyond and they are truly concerned with the work they are doing. They even have a vet tech on staff who will visit and take care of pets. You pay for what you get, but what you get is the best.
