On Time Contracting

Luis, a technician with On Time Roofing Contractor whose company was referred to me through Angi's List, contacted me regarding my siding repair project. He came to my house on July 31 and removed a piece of my aluminum siding from the side of my house under the pretext that he would match both the color and size to repair a section of the wall next to my electric meter. He removed a section of the siding to see if he could find a suitable match. I had to continually follow-up with him via both phone calls and texts. He sent me one text a week later stating that he was still trying to match the sample he took. That was the last text I received from him. I had to follow up with him over the next few weeks. When I got no response, I told him that I needed to have him return the sample and reattach it to the house because at that point, I had hired another handyman and electrician to repair the hole on my wall with a siding block. He texted me and said his crew was going to drop off the sample siding he took. They never did. I then called him again the following week and he texted me to say he would stop by on Saturday evening August 30 at 7 p.m. to drop off the sample. I waited and he never came. I followed up with him again via text on both Sunday, August 31st and Monday, Sept. 1 and stated that I had waited for him on Saturday and he should have contacted me if he couldn't make it that night. I called him on Tuesday morning, Sept. 2 and spoke to him and told him I needed him to return the sample ASAP. He asked me if I was going to be home that day and Wednesday and told him I was available ALL week. I texted him again today, Wednesday, Sept. 3 and informed him that I still have not heard from him and left him a VM stating I was going to file a complaint with Angi's List. That's where we stand on this matter.
