- We made an order for 1,000 full color prints of both our line sheet (4 pages) and order form (5 pages).
- They committed to - and quoted us based on - delivering these documents by 2pm on a Friday.
- They failed to deliver the documents until after 5pm on Friday and consistently evaded my questions about the documents' status throughout the day.
- The documents they delivered failed to match the artwork we provided.
- The documents they delivered were by their own admission color photocopies, not original prints, as we had agreed.
- They charged us $125 for delivering the documents using a professional courier service and in all our conversations on Friday, claimed that they were using a professional courier service. However, the documents were delivered by a private taxi who charged NYC Printing 123 $25 and did not deliver them to our office; instead, he asked us to pick the documents up from the street.
- They even asked the taxi driver to get me to sign a sheet of paper to prove that I received the documents. After inspecting them, I didn't sign the sheet and instead paid the driver to take them back to NYC Printing 123. Why did I have to pay him you may be wondering? Well, NYC Printing 123 only paid him for a one-way trip and wanted him to return the signed sheet for free, while I wanted to ensure that they couldn't say I accepted documents that were unusable.
- When I called NYC Printing 123 to confront them about all of this, Ray (the person we had been dealing with) dismissed my claims saying that we had already received the documents and therefore that there was nothing left to discuss.
- Even though I returned the documents because they were unacceptable and they failed to deliver on their commitments, NYC Printing 123 refuses to refund our money.
