The two men positioned their truck on an inclined driveway perpendicular to a four step entryway to the house. Using the tailgate, plywood sheeting and lots of muscle. The piano made it's ten foot move across the plywood and partially onto a 5'x6' deck to the doorway that was a right angle to the deck. The tolerances to angle the piano sufficiently could not have exceeded a half inch and could only be maneuvered by experienced and powerful personnel. This was done and the placement of the piano inside the home was completed fairly easily. The piano was turned on and played perfectly.
From the first communication with John to the job completion can only be described as "perfect". The coordination and actual move was flawless. There was a great deal of potential for damage to property and piano. None of which happened. Not a scratch or dent, nothing at all. It was actually amazing to watch them work. The delivery men were very professional and courteous. I can highly recommend NYC Piano Movers without reservation. A very fine moving business!
