NY Carpet Cleaning Service

I was very impressed with NY Carpet Cleaners. The team of two men arrived exactly on time, and worked for over two hours. The furniture was really stained and now looks fresh and clean. The guys were very careful about not tracking dirt, etc. They were friendly and professional. Our building is fussy about providers being licensed and insured, and they were able to handle that paperwork for us. The area rug was returned so clean that my husband asked if we had gotten a new rug!

They came exactly when they said they would and picked up the carpet. Arrangements were made to clean the two recliners when they brought the rug in 2 weeks. Everything was exactly as described and they were very careful doing the cleaning of the recliners in my livingroom. Excellent value for the money.

the We were moving into a new on March 6. We needed the floors to be covered by 3/5 before we moved in. Looked around Angie's list for a carpet cleaner for 3 area rugs, 8x11, 5x8 and 4x5. Truth be told we were only able to start this search the beginning of the prior week, so that when we said our due date on the phone some folks didn't call us back, some said it was too little time, one played phone tag with us. NY carpet agreed to come out and give us an estimate that Weds. I was in such disarray that I locked us out of the apt when I went to let them in. (embarrassing). They were patient for the 5 minutes until the super let us in, gave me an estimate, explained that the large rug was handstitched and would cost more as was the smallest carpet. They explained that one week or 6 days was a short time to do this job right but I insisted I needed the carpet on the new apt floor by 3/5 and they agreed to take it. The owner also explained to me that the backing on 2 of the rugs was shot and would shorten their use life. I could see their point and purchased 2 backings (one for the small carpet for little cost) and one for the large. I cannot presently locate the receipt but without the backings the bill came to somewhat over $900 I believe. I know I was surprised by the price. Their office was in close contact about the process of the job and the delivery and I was sure and guaranteed that it would be there on time.
And it was.
They were delivered on time (which I know was short time frame), clean and nice and looking just fine. As far as I could tell they did a very nice, professional job. As I said the price was higher than I imagined but being in a crunch that was what there was. They did a good job and if you are willing/able to pay the price, have very expensive carpets, than yes I would recommend. If you have time to look around, I'm guessing there are other companies who do this job for less.
In short they did a good job.
