New York Fine Art Appraisers

I spoke to a very courteous and helpful woman on the phone who set up an appointment for an appraiser to come and value 10 pieces of art, including oil paintings, prints and photographs.  They were able to set up an appointment about a week from the day I called.  Promptly (in fact a little early) the appraiser arrived, looked over the art, photographed each one with his own equipment and promised me the appraisals in " a couple of weeks".  On one item, I asked for an appraisal for insurance purposes and for tax purposes.  All the others were just for insurance. I received by email a week later both sets of appraisals, which look very complete and professional.  They are mailing me a hard copy as well. I'm very pleased with their work.
