The workers arrived on time and got down to work quickly after I explained my areas of concern re the sofa. One area really looked bad and they started the work but then after a while they told me it was going to be difficult and they might not be able to do as good a job as I might be pleased with. They continued working on the rest of the sofa but one of them continued to work on the stain. It is an off white sofa so everything is noticeable. After they finished they showed me the completed job. The stain was barely visible and after they explained that perhaps some kind of dye from fabrics might have rubbed off onto the fabric of the sofa, I knew they were right. The sofa is used constantly, especially that area and it had not been cleaned in about 5 years. It is now clean and looks beautiful and the stain is not really noticeable. I would absolutely use this company again and recommend them highly.

Found them online, first time using their services. Customer service was great … timing was quick..pick up and delivery was great. Friendly staff from phone service to pick-up/delivery. Very happy with the cleaning outcome. Would definitely use their services again!

Very prompt and professional service at a reasonable price, and very accommodating on scheduling both the quote and the actual cleaning. Our oriental rugs and upholstered furniture are now very clean. We were particularly impressed with how well the technicians cleaned the velvet sofa!

Great! They were absolutely great to deal with. Every time I called someone immediately answered. They gave an estimate over the phone, once they had explained in detail their service, and said they may adjust it once they came to see the job. They reduced their estimate by approximately 10%. My rugs were picked on schedule and returned on schedule. My rugs look very clean. Their service was seamless and better priced than the other estimates I received.

Firstly, there was frequent communication between Luiza and me which I really liked. She asked me to send photos of what specifically was needed and followed up with a great quote. She worked around my schedule and I really appreciated that as she was able to find an appointment when previously she had no one at that time. She kept in contact to remind me of the appointment and then the two professional cleaners sent me a text when they were nearby the day of the appointment. The two professionals who were very courteous arrived right on time. They even had to bring the heavy equipment up three flights of stairs as there is no elevator and did not complain once. Since my sleeper sofa and chair had not be upholstered since I bought them many years ago there were grease stains especially by the head and arms. My area rug had not been cleaned since prior to the pandemic and all were in urgent need of cleaning. They worked efficiently and thoroughly. My furniture and area rug received the tender loving care they desperately needed. They even showed me videos of the upholstering they were doing in my home. The stains were so ingrained into the fabric that they had to clean them 3-4 times to restore the fabric! The stains and odors were completely removed and the colors were beautifully restored. I am admiring how bright everything looks again. This was an excellent company to work with and deserve the 5-star rating and review. I will gladly use them again and refer them to others. Very well, the workers did a great job of cleaning my carpets and upholstery.

I paid $500 to have a rug cleaned and my drapes taken down, cleaned and put back up. When they came to put them back up, the two guys did not know how to do it, so they took them back with them. Two other guys came and they didn't know how to get them back up even though we had photos. I dealt with Lucy Brooke for months. She had ME call around to other businesses to see how much they wanted to put them up properly. The only one who would do it without cleaning them again, wanted $400. Lucy offered me $200. I filed a complaint with the Better business Bureau, which NY Carpet Cleaning completely ignored. After going back and forth with Lucy SO many times, now I never hear from her. Why did NY Carpet Cleaning agree to remove my drapes if their workers were not competent to put them back correctly?

New York Carpet Cleaning did a great job. They cleaned my area rug which is pretty big. The results were as expected, and I was very satisfied. The people are helpful, professional, and friendly. Their prices are good. I will continue to use them, and recommend them to my friends.

They did a good job

My mom hired New York Carpet Cleaning to clean her decades only white carpeting. The before and after are incredible. Before, the carpeting was almost grayish—this is New York City after all. After, the carpeting has been restored to its beautiful creamy white. Needless to say, my mom was thrilled. Her apartment looks like new.

Not only were they personable, but extremely professional - they truly care about the services they provide and the satisfaction of their customers. The results were every thing I could have asked for. Finally, the pricing was as reasonable as one could possibly expect.

They were diligent about cleaning my dining room chairs which have a leather backing. They did them twice because of the leather backing of my dining room chairs. I like this company and trust the workers to do the right thing.

We have been using New York Carpet Cleaning for at least 10 years. They are a pleasure to work with. We have our handmade wool rugs cleaned by them every 3-4 years. The rugs come back looking gorgeous.
