Overall terrific! Quality of the design and workmanship is excellent. Budget estimate was right on. Schedule estimate was off. The job took much longer than originally planned.

On budget. Way over time -- scheduled for 3 months, took close to 8 months. Issues were many. Architect was responsible for a substantial portion of the delays. The workmen on the job were generally good natured and willing to help, but not highly skilled. Many mistakes were made and had to be redone. They were not carefully supervised by the contractors and I was not home much myself to supervise. Issues ranged from installing the wrong products to just plain sloppy work such as paint spills. Ultimately it was all cleaned up and we were happy with the result but it took a lot of badgering and complaining to get there. This accounted for a lot of the delay in the job. Seems like it would have been easier to do it right the first time but I guess that would involve hiring higher paid workers in the first place. Summary: Cost was good -- this was our lowest estimate -- in one case $100K less than another bid -- and no hidden fees/surprises. Work was slow and sometimes sloppy, but ultimately got the job done well They were very responsive to criticism and requests for change and for that I am grateful. Basically if I wasn't happy they were willing to take another crack at it. I only wish they did it right the first time more often.

They gave me an estimate for $80000. Their price was too high so I didn’t use them. Their workmanship and what they told me was very nice but the price was way beyond my budget so I used another company. They were very pleasant and very professional. Their approach was totally high-end. I would use them if it wasn’t for their price.

The limited relationship went well.

They did a great job. They were on time and quietly did the job. We did not have any complaints from our neighbors about noise. They were pretty good about getting back to us when we had any problems.

Leo and Pete were very professional when they came to look at my bedroom ceiling noise problem. They put a hole in the ceiling and we basically agreed on the use of Quietrock (their suggestion) and other ways to insulate and quiet the problem. We also had multiple patchwork to be done throughout the apartment. After promising an estimate the next day, I'm waiting 2 weeks and Leo doesn't get back to me. Very frustrating, especially with the hole in my ceiling.
