They sent someone out, but then the company refused to pay for the repairs. The technician told me that the company has a reputation not to pay and will give you the run around if it is pricy to fix. After months of trying to get them to pay fix it I ended up fixing it myself. Nationwide continued to give me the runaround and hung up on me countless times. The phone attendants used fake names each time I called. FOR YOUR OWN SANITY DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE SCAM ARTIST AND WILL JUST TAKE YOUR MONEY. WORSE COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH!!!!!!

This company does not provide services in Texas - why does it come up for a Houston member of the list? BUG in the grading system - it recognizes a "N/A" as being higher than "F"!

There price is much lower than the other companies we have used in the past. Also, they will let you pick a contractor from Angie's List to do the work you need at home.

They were willing to work with me. Since renewing my old plan would have meant no lapse in coverage, I was able to negotiate the waiting period down from 30 days to 15 days. Also, they quoted a service call fee of $50 over the phone, but had $60 in the written agreement. Upon making my first service call I mentioned the discrepancy and they agreed to charge me the $50 rate. The warranty plan paid for itself when they covered most of the cost of replacing my water heater. Even though the water heater had not yet gone out completely, when I explained that I was unable to drain it due to heavy sediment build up and that the water temperature was inconsistent, they allowed the service. The repairman they sent out was excellent, friendly and went above and beyond to work with the warranty company to ensure coverage of eligible parts and services. For items not covered, he thoroughly explained what was needed and why it was not covered and kept the charges to a minimum.
