Nationwide Chimney & Fireplace

I believe this was the third year we had Nationwide clean our fireplace, as we use it frequently in the winter months. Nationwide has done an excellent job each time, and takes particular care in making sure that nothing in reasonable proximity to the fireplace receives any fallout. We will continue to use Nationwide as needed.

They were great. The person who came in was very reliable and honest. He did a good job.

On the scheduled appointment day the crew of two arrived on time and "prepped" the area around the fireplace so that the working area was completely sealed off from the rest of my apartment. They inspected the chimney from all angles including going up on the roof to look for obstructions and faults in the chimney.
They worked very quickly and very carefully cleaned the chimney in my 1864 Midtown townhouse. The bill was consistent with the estimate and the entire experience was "textbook;" exactly what you want in any transaction. For any future work or a recommendation I would call Nationwide again. And again.

On time. Polite, friendly. Seemed to do excellent job, professional and upload.

Bruce from Nationwide came and inspected the fireplace which was not working when I moved in. He checked all the connections and made sure there were no potential hazards. Got it working!
He has also given me an estimate for further repairs to be done on the chimney. We will decide later on for those.

The staff scheduled a start date that was exactly within my time line and arrived promptly and prepared each day. Their level of experience was well accepted and they were courteous to all. The level of respect and regard for personal property was well within what any homeowner would expect and above and beyond.


I purchase this property as an investment and entertainment for the holidays believing the fireplace was in operable condition. Several attempts to use my fireplace were futile. As an experienced contractor myself, I called several chimney and fireplace companies and was quite disappointed with the low level of knowledge and understanding they provided me with. Therefore, confused, I discussed this with other contractors and an architect. That is when Nationwide Chimney and Fireplace, Inc. came highly recommended in reference to a restoration and any corrections the premises would require.


They did a great job. MY fireplace was used that year with a house full of company. I called the office to go over the payment details and spoke to a very helpful staff. They assured me that everything would be safe guarded and the clean up would be done to my satisfaction and it was.
