MRTA DESIGN CONSTRUCTION

Overall we were extremely pleased. The attention to detail and true passion for doing everything right really set them apart. Martin, the company Principal, was hands on and involved at all times. Not once did we feel we were left in the hands of less interested sub contractors. If anything was not perfect, Martin was the first to instruct that it be fixed before we even had to say a word.
Throughout the job they stayed on schedule or provided us with revised, accurate time estimates as we requested additions or increased the scope of work along the way. There were no days that we felt the job site was abandoned because sub contractors or workers were not showing up.
We were impressed with Martin from day 1 because of the amount of time he spent in the space measuring, asking questions and reviewing the scope before providing his estimate. Other contractors did a quick walk through and emailed an estimate that we knew in no way could be accurate. Martin's estimate was higher than the other contractors but it was complete. This meant we had no surprises or sudden increases in costs as the job progressed. Where we did request additional work, he was extremely timely in providing revised estimates for our approval.
A final and critically important quality was that he did not abandon us at the end when the final punch list of all those small but annoying things needed to get completed. Each one was taken care of and not once did we have to call and beg for something to be finished. We've even requested a few small items after the job has been completed and he or one of his sub contractors has taken care of it right away.
