The company's "we know better than the customer" attitude is unfounded and misplaced given the poor product quality and technical service ineptitude. The dishwasher doesn't clean, takes hours for a Normal cycle, leaves dishes with soap film and rinse spots, and (per Miele) doesn't fully dry items because "...it is from Europe which is more Green conscious and doesn't use wood or plastic dining or serving utensils." Um, okay. Lived there; had offices there; used plastic and wood there. In addition to being subpar and overpriced, the tech support group has to be booked well in advance, keeps whatever house call schedule it pleases, echoes the green condescension rap, and, in my case, left the dishwasher completely unusable. After another prolonged phone wait on hold to book the next service call, the current suggestion is to: turn off the water supply, clean out all old soap (it was used once since the latest required white vinegar cleansing), unplug the unit, use a portable fan to blow on the motor housing, reboot the dishwasher, use our detergent tab (but cut it into quarters first), monitor the cycle, and wait one week for your next service call, which will be the third one this month. No thanks...
