I have a 5x7 bathroom that hadn't been renovated since about 1947 - it was toothpaste green and black, and desperately in need of an update. I was totally overwhelmed with all the decisions that had to be made, and Lori was an absolute godsend. I couldn't have redone the bathroom without her. She spoke to me over the phone and then came to the apartment to do a "home visit." During these first meetings, she right away understood my taste and the look I was going for. She offered suggestions not only about design, but also construction and appliance choices. Once we agreed to work together, she did a wonderful job picking out everything (tile, bathtub, faucets, paint colors, the works) and met me at Home Depot to show me samples as well as what she had in mind. Once we agreed on the design, she recommended contractors, and created a lifesaving Excel spreadsheet with each item, the item #, where it should be put in the bathroom, and notes. This let me not only speak knowledgeably to contractors, but also to comparison shop and make sure I found the best deals for each item. Long story short, the bathroom turned out better than I could have hoped for. It is beautiful, easy to maintain, restful, and looks much bigger and brighter than before. It looks modern, and clean, and yet still natural. I highly recommend Lori for any bathroom renovation. And when I save up the money for a ktichen redo, she'll be the first person I call!
She also picked out a rug and coffee table for my living room. The rug totally transformed the look of the room - it is so much warmer now and looks more finished. The coffee table hasn't shipped yet, but I'm 100% sure I'll love it too. 

I have just written the final check for this project, and I am SO happy, from beginning to end. Lori Falk is the ultimate professional, and checked with me often during the job. She made suggestions throughout the project, and even suggested a matching bed for my dog! Her communication with the various subcontractors was excellent, and they always showed up when scheduled, throughout this two month project. Lori checked back again and again, and did not send final bill until the last visit to make sure that everything had been done according to my wishes. I would hire her again immediately, and would wait in line if I had to put off the project for her schedule.
