John was great! He and his team did a great job from measuring to installation. We had one problem matching one cabinet with built-in and they took it back to the shop and reconfigured so it looked perfect. I'm extremely particular and they met and exceeded my expectations!

Little Wolf built custom cabinets on three walls of my living/dining room.  Great company to work with.

It went very good, they did an excellent job, very pleased with the work.

Everything was perfect. I worked with the owner on exactly what I wanted. He was helpfull with suggestions and with some do's and don'ts. Very accomadating. There is crown molding on the unit that continues the existing molding. Looks amazing.
I did not shop around so I cannot say if I could have done better on price. The quality is top notch. I was not in a hurry but they were ready in the time they promised.
 The only thing is that they do not do the painting. They suggest two guys. I didn't realize that the painting is a specialty. You can't use a regular painter, he has to be particular to this type of work. That was an additional cost, $1000 for the smaller unit and $1500 for the larger.I have not done this part yet.

They are absolute experts from start to finish

Overall a good experience. Only complaint was that the A/C cover did not quite fit when they first came to install, and they had to bring the pieces back for adjustment.

They were excellent.  The quality of their work is also excellent.

After having compared prices and "attitudes", so to speak, of several carpenters/cabinet makers, I went to Little Wolf, who had done beautiful cabinets for me many years ago in another apartment.  I went into the shop, described what I wanted, and as I explained, Karl, the father, made an instant drawing from my description - along with a few suggestions from him about how things could work.  The prices were high, and the cabinets would be delivered unpainted (my choice - they would have painted them, I think, for an extra fee).  Karl's son came to my apartment within a day or two to take exact measurements.  The carpentry shop is right on the premises, and one can watch the carpenters work. Two weeks or so after the order, the built-in units were delivered and attached them to the walls.
One of the units had a problem with a cabinet door and it was taken care of immediately.
All of the people involved were extremely polite and helpful.

Their craftsmanship is just beautiful. They are very accommodating and it was just a great experience.

We are very pleased. We met with Gene at the cabinet shop to introduce the job and draw up initial plans. We were able to walk through the wood shop to see various examples of cabinets-very helpful. John came to our home to take measurements and finalize the plans. Within 4 weeks we had the installers in our home assembling the unit. We were part of the entire process. In addtion, instead of using the basic fixtures they provide, we went to Home Depot and purchased handles. We gave these to Little wolf and they fixed them on the unit. Little Wolf can provide resources for possible painters. The only downside was we then needed to hire painters to finish the unit and that wasn't reflected in the cabinet price...and additionl $1200. Well worth it though!

This is a really old-fashioned neighborhood business: a little informal, but completely professional and scrupulous. I walked in to discuss new kitchen cabinets with Mr. Wolf. We talked about what I wanted and he drew up a quick sketch. John came over within a day or two to take measurements and the cabinets were built in about four weeks. I gave all appliance specifications to the shop. The installation was painless and very well done. The only surprise was that all their work is unfinished and you need to hire a finisher to stain and varnish all the wood. However, they have people they know and trust and will give you recommendations. After the refinishing and the rest of the remodel there were little adjustments to be made to doors and drawers and they came right away to do these minor fixes. This was a smooth and happy experience. The cabinets are beautiful and just exactly as I envisioned them.

It is absolutely gorgeous. They are awesome. It took six to eight weeks. They were very much on schedule and it was done when he promised it. It is beautiful quality workmanship. It is really, really spectacular. We designed it together. We had gotten other estimates and his price was between $2-3,000 less. I saw other units that he had made and everything was really gorgeous. The units are really custom-made to your specifications. He takes great pride in his cabinetry and his workers are very happy and they put a lot of effort and pride in their work. He has been around a long time. The quality was excellent. The installers did a great job. They had to make a couple of changes. The media unit had to be cut and they made another shelf on the spot so everything was done at the end of the day. The only downside is that he doesn?t finish the furniture. He will give you the names of people that will do the finishing.

I was very pleased with them. I thought that they did a really good job and that they were professional. They don?t paint so you have to bring in your own painters. They worked with my on the design and they tried to be accommodating. I have them working on another unit right now.

Very straightforward. First step, you describe what you want, and then Mr. Wolf makes a sketch on the spot, offering helpful suggestions along the way. Then he can give you a ballpark price on the spot. Next, they come out for measurements, and then start work. They completed it a bit sooner than promised and quickly had it installed. They also set me up with a good independent guy who did the staining.

We started the process by sitting with John to design the various built-ins. Modifications were made to the room once the Little Wolf representative visited the apartment and measured the apartment. We received many good suggestions and recommendations from Little Wolf, including the height of the built-ins as we have very ornate ceilings, how to redesign the built-ins to accommodate different wall recesses and other alternative suggestions. When my contractor and I decided that we should replace our fire place mantels, the owner of Little Wolf worked with me to re-design the mantels so that the new mantels were similarly ornate. The installations were done on time and the staff people are extremely professional and punctual. Little Wolf does not stain the built-ins-you will need to hire a separate contractor. Would highly recommend Little Wolf to anyone contemplating built-ins.

I walked in off the street after hearing about Little Wolf from a friend. Mr Wolf sat with me and we designed the four pieces; he gave me prices on the spot. I came in another day and booked the job; paid my deposit. John came to measure and in 5 weeks, just as they said, the pieces were ready for installation. The finisher took the removable pieces (shelves, doors, drawers) to his shop and finished them there and returned to finish the installed sections. The pieces are all beautifully made and finished. We're thinking about having LW make a bed for us next.

I think the price is reasonable. The workmanship is great.

I happened to watch them unload from the truck and they treated these parts, as if they were infant babies. There's an element of care, expertise. They were very concerned about hanging the units carefully and professionally. They also cleaned up.

I LOVED THE SHELVES THAT THEY BUILT. THEY WERE BEAUTIFUL. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO EVERYONE WHO WANTS SOME SHELVES BUILT. I HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH THEM AT ALL.

THIS COMPANY IS GREAT. THEY REALLY DO HAVE COMPLETE CONTROL OF THEIR CRAFT AND WHAT THEY DO IS A CRAFT. THEY WERE VERY EFFICIENT IN THE MEASURING OF EVERYTHING. THE CABINETS ARE JUST GORGEOUS.

I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM, BECAUSE THEY DID A GOOD JOB. THEY WERE GOOD ABOUT FOLLOWING THROUGH AND KEEPING THERE PROMISES. THEY ARE EXPENSIVE, BUT TRUE PROFESSIONALS.

THE COMPANY IS VERY REASONABLY PRICED. THEY ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND COURTEOUS. THEY HELP YOU WITH YOUR DESIGNS AND WORK WITH YOU. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO EVERYBODY.
