Our caregiver is still with us. We chose her after watching videos of applicants and getting a recommendation from the staff. LeanOnWe empowers you to make choices about the person you want to hire, the tasks they will perform, etc. They are very professional and helpful. The process was very smooth for us. Regarding our caregiver. She is invaluable. She is warm, smart and compassionate and eager to do a great job. She helps our mother with medicines, bathing, eating and more. She tidies up and helps our mother get dressed and put on clothing and make-up when she feels well enough. She loves to talk with our mother and watch TV with her; she truly cares about her comfort and well-being. Having two new people living in our home was a transition, but it was not difficult. Our caregiver fits right into our family and is a pleasure to have in our home. We could not have asked for anyone better. And we are so thrilled that our mother is happy to have such a warm and caring companion.

Trusting someone to take care of your parent is a really big deal - especially if your parent is ill and in need of constant attention. I am so grateful that I found LeanOnWe and for all of their staff's attention to detail in helping find the right person. The 4 weeks with my mother went really well and I never had a moment of worrying that my mother was in good hands. The caregiver was professional, kind, responsible and had a big heart (and sense of humor).

From the outset, it has worked out better than I could have hoped. The owner Betsy was courteous, knowledgeable and not pushy. I told her what was going on at home and what I thought was needed. She made some scheduling suggestions and ended up saving us considerable money. There was no charge until we hired someone and their inexpensive pricing is creatively structures so they have no financial incentive for us to pay a higher rate or hire the caregiver for more hours than I need. She sent me several profiles of caregivers that fit the bill for us and I interviewed the one I thought best for us and decided to hire her. The whole process took just two days to complete and we were set. I couldn't believe how easy it was. I paid less than I thought I'd have to and with all the info in the profiles, I knew so much about Johanna even before we spoke. What a great idea for leanonwe to do all the homework so I could easily hire someone on my own.
