Larry Brown

Larry was great! I will definitely call him again.He came with his assistant Renly and they were on time. I called him to replace the gasket in my toilet tank and we then realized the problem was with the whole toilet which had never been installed properly because it was the wrong size. The tank was pressed against the wall which created a gap between the toilet tank and the toilet seat. Every time I flushed the toilet water was leaking from the tank every where. Larry came and in an effort to save me money exhausted all his options in just trying to replace the gasket but it didn't work because the problem was with the whole toilet. So we went to home depot together (which took some time) picked out a new toilet. He was very patient. When we got home he installed it in a matter of minutes. Very fast. Larry was a man of his word he charged me the same price he initially stated to me which was about $250-300

I called Mr. Brown about the problem in the late afternoon, and he arranged to come to my place the very next day. He arrived a little ahead of the scheduled time, assessed the problem, gave me the estimate and repaired the broken shelve, which had dislodged from the wall. Additionally, he removed an ancient air conditioning unit from the window (which didn't cost me anything extra, as it fell within the hour time period of his charge). He did a superb, efficient job. He was quick, personable (extremely personable), professional and gave me helpful suggestions about how to approach other repair issues in my apartment. I wouldn't hestistate to call Mr. Brown again for service, and I'm relieved to now have access to a dependable, competent and reasonably-priced handyman in my area.

My fiance dropped her engagement ring in the bathroom sink. while the task was fairly simple we wanted a professional to recover it as we had recently moved in and did not want to take any chances with the sink plumbing. being a Saturday it was very tough to find any plumber/handyman to help us out and most asked us to wait till monday. Larry took our call and even took a taxi to get to our apartment asap. He was friendly and most courteous and even helped us understand the plumbing better.
Well it was an emergency and we are glad that we found Larry!

Problem turned out to be more serious than we expected and he had to remove the toilet. He Nonetheless repaired it quickly and completely and for just a small amount more than we originally agreed.

Arrived on time, did the work, cleaned up, left. What more can you ask for?
