Peter and his guys were very easy to work with.
He would work with you on your crazy ideas, and keep your imagination in a safe reality of construction and price.
At the end there was no punch list!
He walked around and check everything and made sure it worked.
His team members are all very respectful when you are on site.
I would feel like a big shot since they would all get out my way when I walk through, even if they are holding something heavy.
...Towards the end of construction:
 I told my wife,
          I had great news for her!
The great news was...
...The house was going to be ready...
...on time.        :)  
 (II learned it was an uncommon milestone to be able to move back on the agreed date.  I'm sure you heard the horror stories.)
Now that construction is done:
My guests comments on the quality, and they really like the touches.
...A year later: 
Everything still works well.  - I had one small issue. the jacuzzi tub was not working. He came in a fixed it for free.  (The button was stuck in between positions.)   He also polished the hard wood floor, for free!

Bit of Advice:
Go for the skim coating. It is worth it and he does a great job.
Go for the Hard wood floor with the border as he tells you to do it. It really stands out.
Conclusion:
He will not be the lowest bidder for your work,
     but at the end of the construction, he will cost you the least money (and save you time).

Our experience with Peter Galicki of Inwood Interiors was excellent.  We dreaded having to renovate, but he made the experience as painless as possible.  Peter was on site all the time and completely responsive.  He was involved in every aspect of the renovation from design to installation. He even helped pick out materials for the kitchen counters and met with us at various stores to assist with choosing tiles.  He and his workers did impeccable work.  They also kept the working area as clean as possible and coordinated construction with our building manager so there were no problems.  We have a large eat-in-kitchen (by NYC standards) which was a complete gut renovation, including new electrical.  Everything works perfectly.  Some of the work involved custom wood-working which was also done beautifully.  The tile work in the kitchen and bathroom was done perfectly - all the tiles are evenly spaced.  The paint job was immaculate.  Amazingly, the work was completed on time and within budget!  We give Inwood Interiors our highest possible recommendation and will work with them in the future.

Incredible job.  They handled all of the unexpected problems that arose during renovation including water damaged walls that needed to be completely rebuilt and floors that needed to be leveled.  It was completed on time in 8 weeks, very professional, put in weekend hours and was incredibly respectful of the building and other residents.

Inwood Interiors did an absolutely fantastic job on our apartment renovation.  We received three bids for our renovation project over the Summer and Piotr's bid came was right in the middle.  We selected Inwood Interiors because a friend of ours had recently completed her renovation and highly recommended him.  

While his bid was not the highest, we were blown away by the quality of his work!  He finished our project on time and ON BUDGET!  And most importantly, our apartment looks fantastic!  We are very, very happy!

Piotr was very hands on throughout the project.  He had a team of people working for him but he was here every day doing the work with his team.  He didn't just sub-contract our project to other people, he was right here doing the work as well.  I highly recommend Inwood Interiors!  Piotr and his team were fantastic!
