printer has been working on again and off again for the past year. I do wish I
had replaced it immediately, apparently it is a lemon.
The first time I called the help desk the person at the service center was rather lame.
The second time I called the guy was a whiz and immediately picked up
an incorrect setting which fixed every thing until I replaced the ink
cartridge. It has not worked properly since then.
Optimistically I
called the service center again and got INDIA. The lady was very patient
BUT her head set wasn't working properly so there was an overwhelming
amount of static which obscured the fact that I couldn't understand her
at all. I asked to speak to her supervisor. She said he was very busy
and could not speak to me. I said I'd wait, she said oh no that would
not be possible.
We did a lot of
back and forth with her suggesting that I try un-plugging the printer
and waiting....duh. Apparently she was reading from a script and she
would not -or could not deviate. 'Press the button that has the picture
of the wrinch.' WHAT 'The wrinch.' So it went.
Finally, after asking
to speak to her supervisor several times she got another page of her
script and insisted that my 18 month old printer had a hardware problem
and she could suggest a suitable replacement. No I couldn't speak to her
supervisor.
Each of her statements had to be repeated at least
three times and I usually have no problem speaking with or understanding
techs.
ABSOLUTELY EGREGIOUS.
If this is the support from the HP Care Pac Service Buyer Beware.

I've had an HP computer for about three years. I like it because at the time it was enough hard drive room. It has been a very fast computer and cheap for the price. It has worked very well. They are a good and quality service.

HP's sales department makes things tremendously easy on you. They obtain a vast amount of knowledge about computers. You do not have to do the work because they do it for you and they do it fast. They are also correct about the work they do and very customer service oriented. I would definitely buy from them again. With respect to the problem I had, HP resolved my soft drive problem quickly and effectively. I had no complaints. They even did it in one half of an hour over the phone. That impressed me. You could not ask for quicker service than that. I can contact them on-line or by phone. That, amongst other things makes me feel good about being a customer with HP.

When you buy an HP, you buy the name. My printer is just fantastic. I paid what I expected to and they will talk to you for ten hours or ten minutes to help you with any problems that arise. They can even take over your computer system from their office. They are patient and they are prompt about repairs. That is why I like HP.

HP is only as good as its worst employee. So, they are average. It is a large company. They did finally fix my problems though under the warranty I had purchased.

HP not only makes products of quality, but they have proven to be very helpful. We have purchased several of their computer products and been satisfied with the sales teams, the customer service department, and the good attitudes both divisions obtain. HP is a great company that resolves computer problems quickly.
