 + -1 moreTerribly. They would not even consider my job since I did not need to have an entire apartment redone and I did not need to have an entire room redone. I needed new overhead cabinets for my hallway, as well as a cabinet in my kitchen and revised storage in my closets. This is a decent amount of work. But, this may be the price I have to pay for being honest and living in a small space. If I had not been honest, they might have considered the work.
Description of Work: I was advised to go to Home Depot because I needed to find a contractor to do some work in my apartment. A friend who used Home Depot mentioned that the store was a good resource and had done good work in his home. In fact, I explained my needs when I requested a contractor through Angie's List. Home Depot was on a list of contractors that Angie's List recommended I live in a studio in Brooklyn Heights, so I am near a Home Depot and have easy access to subway in case a contractor needs to reach my home by public transportation. The store told me that they would only redo entire apartments or entire rooms. I needed to have my closets fitted for extra storage and have cabinets built over my closets. The store rejected my request for work and refused to recommend an independent contractor.
