Herald Towers

I'm in my second lease at Herald Towers but will NOT re-sign for a 3rd lease. The building is 101 years old but is taken care of. The location is right in the heart of Herald Square which does get old as it's very busy area. The hallways are a dump and need refurbishing. My main issue though is the staff and management. The leasing office described the building as doorman at move in. They are definitely NOT doorman. They are "concierge" but in name only. They are the laziest, rudest group of employees I've ever encountered. They always act like they are doing residents a favor when they have to get up out of their chair. They always have attitude and the females roll their eyes at residents on a regular basis.  The leasing office staff upstairs is snotty and combative. Definitely not welcoming to the building. The staff which works the rooftop acts like a Nazi checking bags and questioning residents who want to hang out on the open rooftop lounge area.   This is not "luxury living" as they describe it. It's a decent building with decent rent with the WORST management and AWFULride staff.
