Barry Goralnick came to my apartment, about to give me an estimate, and I told him that I was not going to do any work. He was great, came over, brought an engineer, and come out for the week. That was a good follow up and I just did not proceed with it. He was very friendly, informative, pushy and helpful. They came out a year ago maybe and he did not give me a quote.One day, he was about one and a half hour late.I have been thinking about calling him but I am not bringing out any other people for I was in the preliminary stages and maybe I should call him again. If you are going to send me another list, I will get that too.

Barry was extraordinarily responsive and helpful throughout the process. The firm accepted a job that should have been simple but which turned out to be much more administratively time-consuming than expected due to requirements established by my building. Barry handled every detail with great patience and care. He and Andrew, an architect in his office, provided excellent architectural drawings, asking thoughtful questions and making good suggestions so that the drawings reflected our exact wishes. They were helpful in coming up with ideas and resources, even when the issues were not within the purview of the project. I enjoyed working with them.

It was a wonderful experience. I couldn't have been happier with the whole process. We went through multiple iterations on architectural plans, then started the process of interviewing contractors which included my making site visits to see their work. We hired a wonderful contractor with whom the architects were in regular contact to monitor site situations and manage the process. The job was finished on budget and just about on time. The outcome was spectacular. I have a gorgeous kitchen, a den with wonderful built-in cabinetry, a new closet, completely refinished floors, fully painted apartment, new cabinetry in the bathroom, new circuit breakers, loads of new light fixtures and door knobs and artwork professionally hung.
