In summary I would like a written warranty covering materials and workmanship-minimum for one year. I foolishly proceeded with my order without an explicitv warranty

It came out beautiful. It was the color that I wanted and they did a very nice job. It is a very adequate wall unit. It was exactly what we expected.

I knew Knossos when it was an unpainted furniture store. Someone suggested I try it for the built ins I needed. My how it has changed. It does kitchens and finished furnitures. The salesperson understood exactly why I needed, quickly drew a plan and gave me a price I felt was very, very fair, much lower than other stores in NYC. The unit was completed in the time promised and installed well by competent and gracious men. There was a problem with the radiator cover and the men simply remeasured and said they would correct the problem. In a week or maybe less they were back. They were all concerned that the work be perfects.

Process began with furniture designer, Amir, coming to apt. and providing a verbal estimate, then after a $250 deposit, creating a detailed schematic (one day later) and discussions of color and finish using floor samples at the showroom. I knew what I wanted, but the designer solved several problems with nice esthetics and functionality. I paid 1/2 upfront, 1/2 at delivery. Amir worked within my budget. The only concern was living in a studio and needing to spend more weeks than expected working around many boxes. Also, was told on several occasions that the furniture would come the following week, which didn't happen. However, the people were pleasant and tried to hurry the process. The "wall" was assembled on site and the installers cut holes for wiring and outlets as needed, and custom fit each piece by filing or filling around uneven apartment walls. (Measurements were quite good going in though in a difficult space.) The workers were respectful and cleaned up afterwards.

The quality of this company is extremely noteworthy. They are punctual, very professional, and knew exactly what it was I needed in creating and installing this wall unit. I was very happy with the price and will be using them again.
