EASTSIDE FLOOR SERVICES LTD

This was not the first time we had used Eastside. My sister-in-law had the floors in her one-bedroom apartment refinished by them 3 years ago. On the second day we received a call from Brian F. that some of the waxes or oils used by a previous owner/tenant caused the water-base polyurethane to dry to a slightly cloudy finish. They re-sanded and refinished the floors with an oil base polyurethane in a couple of more days. Eastside was first on our list when we decided to switch to hardwood floors. Their pricing was competitve so we went with them. We chose the manufactured floor because it would maintain the same height as the other floors in the apartment. the job was completed in three working days, no fuss, no muss, no bother.

My building super recommended Eastside Floor Services when my toilet overflowed and ruined my floors. My insurance paid for the floor so I was looking for someone who had experience in my building and came recommended. Brian came in and was very professional and gave me a very fair estimate, all in. They did the work in the amount of time they said they would and there were no hidden costs. I paid exactly what they told me it would cost and the work was excellent. There was nothing that had to be fixed. I am extremely satisfied with my experience and would recommend them without hesitation.

They were subcontractors. They seamed reasonable enough. The were able to move my furniture from side to side as they installed the floor. They destroyed a piece of furniture that was irreplaceable. They were careless.

I HAVE USED THIS COMPANY BEFORE, AND MANY PEOPLE IN MY BUILDING USE THEM, ALSO. I THINK THEY ARE EXCELLENT. THE FLOORS TURNED OUT FINE. THE ENTIRE FIRM WAS EXCELLENT.

THEY WEREN'T A VERY GOOD COMPANY. THEY HAD TO REDO THE FLOORS THREE TIMES, SO I DON'T REALLY THINK THEY KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING. THEY DID SHOW UP ON TIME, BUT IT WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER IF THEY HADN'T HAD SHOWED UP AT ALL.
