Demar Plumbing Corp

The plumber was professional but the receptionist/coordinator was unhelpful and came across as rude on the phone. They charged us $750 to replace a shower fixture or for 2+ hours of work. Displeased with the outcome and especially the price tag. Conclusion: overpriced for no reason.

I own a condo and on 12/30 I awoke to no heat.  I asked my bldg superintendent for guidance, he came to my home to survey the situation and discovered the pilot was out and although he tried, it would not re light.  He gave me the contact information for DeMar Plumbing and mentioned they are our bldg plumbing company.  In addition he suggested they typically give discounts to condo owners in our bldg.I phoned DeMar immediately to say the pilot element needed replacement.  The Receptionist said I could not have an appointment within the next 5 days due to the upcoming holiday weekend.  I mentioned I was an owner, also a member of the Board.  She said she needed to consult with her manager and call me back.  Instead of calling, a service person arrived within 40 minutes.  He worked for about 12 minutes to replace the coupling, he then promptly gathered his tools and was gone.  As this was my first experience I wanted to understand a few of the details of his work, however he could not speak English, nor did he understand my questions.  I received no estimate, nor a bill.  I was asked to give DeMar my visa account when I phoned, therefore my card was charged $421.89.  Besides being a high cost for the work, I feel the company does not have a high level of professionalism.

The sink still leaks. The bath tub spout looks great and is fixed. The plumber was there for about 1/2, hour so I'm not sure why it cost almost $300. The only materials he used were plumbers tape and some sort of caulking substance.

The Company did not return phone calls seeking service.

Excellent. Arrived on time, had parts in the truck, replaced valve professionally.

On time, polite and clean. Plumbers aren't cheap, and $125 is the minimum for an hour's work, whether it's a 10-minute job or longer.

I USE THE DEMAR PLUMBING CORPORATION ALL THE TIME. THEY ARE ALWAYS HERE WITHIN A HALF AN HOUR OF CALLING THEM. THEY DO AN EXCELLENT JOB AND I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.

THEY DID A GOOD JOB. THEY DID NOT ARRIVE ON TIME. THEY WERE VERY POLITE, PROFESSIONAL, AND DID NOT TAKE A LONG TIME. THEY DIDN'T LEAVE ANY MESSES FOR US TO CLEAN UP.

THEY DID SEND SOMEONE OUT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT IN ORDER TO GET THE JOB DONE. I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH HOW RESPONSIVE THEY WERE AND THE WORK THEY DID. I DID THINK THAT THE PRICE WAS TOO HIGH.

MY OVERALL EXPERIENCE WITH THIS COMPANY WAS EXCELLENT. THIS COMPANY ALWAYS ARRIVED RIGHT ON SCHEDULE. THEY ALSO KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING AND I THINK THAT THEY CHARGED ME A GREAT PRICE.
