David Sands Designs

We engaged David Sands when we were moving from an apartment on the West side of Manhattan to a larger and more modern apartment on the East Side. David was of incalculable help in designing the new space and executing it. Though we were going to need several new pieces, it was important to us to make sure many of our current furniture pieces work. And one of our goals was to tie everything together, to make it a cohesive home (where our old home felt like it had been assembled piece meal over the years â which it had been!) One of Davidâ s great strengths was listening to our wishes, and offering solutions that we would never have come up with on our own. He presented many options, and was totally open to our input. The result is, a stunning apartment that we love, and one that we couldnâ t have created without him On moving day, David was in the apartment, measuring, unpacking, designing the placement of our artwork, and offering endless moral and artistic support. With all of the delays in delivery so prevalent now, he stayed with us until the very last piece was in place, including sending back a piece that wasnâ t up to his (and our) standards. We now have a beautiful new home that we love, and we owe a large debt of gratitude to David for that. Artistically, pragmatically, and even financially, as he managed to get some great prices on many items. David Sands is a wonderful designer and a joy to work with. We couldnâ t recommend him more highly.

David came to our home to choose paint colors for our apartment, but whatr we received from David was much more. His expertise extends to design, form and function. We were most pleased with David's Professional manner, his reliability, and his willingness to respond to unplanned remodeling situations. I would recommend him highly and without reservation.
