DAVE THE MOVER

Flawlessly. You might think people working by the hour would work slowly, but they were really fast and efficient. They walked in, were really professional, knew exactly what to do, and managed to do it all in less than 5 hours, though we probably saved some time because my husband was doing a lot of the moving too. They also helped move around some furniture that was already in the new apartment, and for some extra $, they were willing to dispose of some huge old shelving units for us. We had just painted, and the floors were just polished the day before, so I asked them to be careful not to drag furniture or touch the walls, but I probably didn't have to ask. They were very careful, and as far as I can see, nothing got broken. In fact, we had saved some fragile things to move ourselves later, but in retrospect we could have just given them to Dave to move along with everything else. On top of being really professional, Dave and his partner were also very friendly and had nice senses of humor. They charged $45 per man per hour, and they earned every cent and more. We happily tipped them probably something like 45 percent.
