D'Merlo Construction did a fantastic job completely renovating our kitchen. When we first met with them, Michael had a complete understanding of different possibilities to remodel the kitchen and was extremely informative. The work was all done without a blemish. We had a new induction stove put in, microwave, tiles and completely replaced the cabinets. Everything was done perfectly. Would recommend enthusiastically and would hire again.

The D’Merlo Construction company consists of a family that works together. During our engagement, we were thousands of miles away. The entire apartment was renovated. This involved new electricity, plumbing, new ceilings, floors, walls, etc. We legally converted a one bedroom into a two bedroom… Michael communicated with us at all times, always giving us choices v& wise suggestions. Considering we were in Florida, this was a huge undertaking. We would highly recommend them!!!

We received proposals and met with multiple contractors to fix up the bathroom, replace a water heater, and replace a PTAC unit, and D’Merlo was the clear choice. Things that set them apart: 1) Michael has excellent people skills, he’s thoughtful, detail oriented, pleasant, and easy to work with. I felt very confident in his abilities and he put me and the tenant at ease. 2) He was practical about what was necessary and what was not necessary work to do, and didn’t try to sell me on a huge invasive job that would be overkill. He cleaned up the tile instead of knocking it all out and replacing it. He made good style decisions. His proposal included things that I didn’t think of (update lights, switches, outlet, floorboard) but were very practical and more complete than what I could have come up with. 3) He has workers in different trades, meaning I could just talk to him and he’d get a variety of things done. 4) He managed the schedule well and was good at communicating updates. 5) He finished the job and didn’t leave any odds and ends left behind. It came out great! There is quality in the workmanship 6) We had other problems with the building (clogged storm drain, low water pressure in kitchen sink) that he identified and tackled, no problem. It’s rare to hire someone who nailed it on so many levels. Thank you!

Very well. The entire D'Merlo team was very professional, hard working, and diligent with their work. They were helpful when needed, and they did a terrific job with the remodel of my kitchen and bathroom, and I'm very happy with the results!
