I spoke to an Angie's list local area rep. and was given two shoe repair shops. Cobbler Express was the nearest.
They made a very nice job of them.
The boots were ready by the pick up date.
The charge was not exessive.
I have taken them a pair of sandels to resole.

Shoe Repair
The owner/cobbler is an expert craftsman. My Zegna shoe boot was soled perfectly. It looked as if that was how it was straight from the manufacturer. At work, when I put it on my feet, it feels comfortable (because of the rubber) AND still has the classic solid wooden clapping sound of fine leather wood-sole shoes! Needless to say, I am still happy since the first day I found them through my search online at citysearch (sorry Anglie's List but sometimes other sites can be helpful): http://newyork.citysearch.com/profile/33071859/new_york_ny/cobbler_express.html#profileTab-reviews FYI: I found Cobbler Express a little over two years ago - I needed a shoe repair shop for basic heel replacement and soles since I have well-made fine shoes.
