I hired BOLTY to help me do a large-scale renovation of my NY apartment (which hadn't had any work done in over 15+ years) in preparation to sell the apartment this Spring. The amount of trust and responsibility I put in BOLTY was beyond the typical as I was coordinating the apartment renovation from Washington DC where I currently live. So I counted on him for absolutely everything. From the moment I was referred to BOLTY (by a real estate agent in my apartment building), he was extremely responsive and ndash; providing an estimate and scope of work in an exceptionally timely manner. And every subsequent email I sent him was responded to within 24-48 hours max. This included over the holidays (Christmas/New Years) and during Hurricane Sandy. He was a true professional, courteous, and always responsive and ndash; even documenting every step of the way and ndash; sending me before and after pictures to show the progress of his work so that I felt completely at ease, making my installment payments from Washington DC, not even having seen the apartment in person. Most importantly, he navigated and handled all the Board approvals of our extremely demanding building management (co-op) and completed this large scale project on time and following all my instructions and ndash; he even went above and beyond several times, throwing in additional tasks and fix-ups for free and ndash; into what I already considered an extremely fair price. I couldn't be happier with the work BOLTY did on my apartment and ndash; and would hire him again in a heartbeat if I ever were to need anything else done in NY. I recommend BOLTY to anyone who is looking for an all-in-one home improvement business.

I purchased a major fixer-upper and BOLTY was there with me every step of the way in turning a major eyesore into a beautiful living space. Nick and his team came in and explained everything that needed to be done. They made suggestions along the way that would save me time and money, but would still give me the outcome that I desired.
Every room in my apartment (including the bedroom and kitchen ceilings!) was covered in 80's wallpaper and it needed to come down! Nick's painter took over this task quickly and neatly without damaging the floors or walls. I was amazed at how fast every room was painted once the wallpaper was down.
The bathroom was an 80's disaster as well. They retiled the floor and walls, replaced the sink and toilet, and installed a new light fixture in 4 days! The best part was I only had to find a place to stay one night, while the floors dried, because they replaced the toilet daily!
The old parquet floors were replaced with beautiful new wood floors that Nick helped me pick out. Every night everything was cleaned up and all of the old materials were removed.
They even installed my window treatments and came up with a clever way to hide the ugly ceiling hardware behind the beautiful crown molding that they installed.
It was a pleasure to have Nick and his team work on my apartment. I never felt pressured or intimidated, and my job was never put on hold for another project. There were no complaints from my neighbors or my co-op. BOLTY is a company that I have recommended to my friends and family.
