Bellhop

Something to keep in mind: often when hiring a moving company, you want reliability and are willing to pay a premium for the reliability. As opposed to hiring workers off the street or individuals. Well...the problem is, it seems Bellhop basically hires the same guys for you (off the street) without any central contact who is coordinating between them all. I hired them to unload a truck and all 3 men are basically walking around the building like clown cars unable to find the parking lot for the building. What's worse: they wouldn't call or answer my texts and after an hour told me that we need to reschedule. And then stopped answering my calls. Quite amazing. And i wasn't an irrational client screaming on the phone...i was just trying to help communicate. I would stay away from these guys.

Would NEVER recommend. Made a traumatizing experience 10x worse. Movers were an hour late which delayed move. Didn’t have supplies (missing blankets, no tape). Took zero care for items. Zero communication between movers and truck. Movers couldn’t find screws to put bed back together. Items showed up with stains stains that looks like feces. Furniture is permanently damaged and can’t be fully cleaned. They offered me $114 based on the insurance assessment. Claims didn’t come until several days after the day promised. Told me they wouldn’t charge me for the move until I was given a proposed reimbursement, but still charged. Horrible. Never use them.

The job went great. The staff was amazing and they really did an unbelievable job given how big this move was going from New York to Ohio. I will absolutely be using them again for when my family relocates to Ohio again in the coming year. Thank you again to the staff and Bellhops as a company!
