Description of Work: The suspension spring on my wall clock broke and I found and installed a replacement myself. But the clock wouldn't stay running. John came to my house and identified and fixed the problem, at the same time tuning and lubricating the clock. He also noticed other aspects of the clock that had been repaired in a slipshod manner in the past and will be fixing those in a subsequent visit. I couldn't be more pleased.

 + -1 moreI found this company long distance. I had the clock moved to NY from southern NJ and needed a clock person put it back together again. I had 3 names from Angie's list and this was the only 1 who would make a house call. No problem setting up the date . Came a little late but did not rush the job. I was thrilled to hear that the clock not only was working again but that there were no problems with its set-up or function. I now know that my son has a reputable business to call if service is needed. I not only highly recommend this business but the entire process I went through.
Description of Work: I sent a large grandfather clock to my son in Brooklyn NY. This company was the only 1 of the 3 I called who not only made house calls but acted as if they were glad for the business. The pendulum and 3 weights had to be unpacked and re-fitted to the clock. The clock had to be leveled and all mechanisms had to be re-started. My son had to instructed in the care and functioning of the clock. Time was spent with all aspects of the job. 1 and 1/2 hrs later all was complete. The clock is working well.
