I have heard horror stories about delays and missing workmen while renovating a kitchen; none of that happened with this job. This work went incredibly smoothly.  Thedesign team was professional and responsible. The  construction crew was small, experienced and extremely reliable. They came every day until the work was accomplished, cleaned the work area each day, and provided education and feedback about the process and how the job was going. When there were issues, it was not their fault, and they worked with me to achieve a quick resolution (e.g., delay in appliances ordered by me).  The workmanship was outstanding and the kitchen was completed on time despite a few delays, was under budget despite add-ons, and exceeded my expectations.
I was extremely happy with the results.

My original kitchen layout was a 7 x 7 galley kitchen with a narrow aisle and terrible counter space. My architect designed a u-shaped kitchen layout with very tight movement, but contiguous counter space. My designer, Evan, developed a layout and estimate based on my plans and then followed up with an in-home visit to verify the measurements. I stopped by the American Classic Kitchen showroom in July. I was in the midst of obtaining contractor estimates and pricing materials for my apartment renovation. I met with Anna initially, who spent time explaining my options and getting a sense of my style preferences. I had a tight budget and Anna assured me that I could get good quality cabinets at an affordable price. I did not use their installation service, which would have been another $3,000. Although I had some initial sticker shock from the price of the cabinets and their installation estimate, the beauty and quality are bar none. I shopped around and found that the adage is true - you get what you pay for. I met with Evan throughout the process. He was knowledgeable, professional, accessible and responsive. Anna was a joy to work with.

THEY'RE WONDERFUL. I LOVE THEM. THEY DID MY WHOLE KITCHEN FIVE YEARS AGO. THEY'RE ON TIME AND UNDER BUDGET. THEY KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING. THEY SPOKE ENGLISH. THEY CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES. THEY WERE PROMPT. THEY DIDN'T LIE. THEY'RE GOOD FOLK.
