I had previously engaged his services (about 2 years ago) on behalf of a friend and remembered how competent and personable he was. 

From time to time in the past, my system has performed sluggishly and at times would freeze and have to be rebooted. 

My current requirement was for a general review of the system, including suggestions on how to improve performance and what was needed to keep it safe and clear of unnecessary programs and data.  I wanted a confirmation on the reliability of the software I was using for security and backups.

Alejandro is clearly very knowledgeable and he communicates in a straightforward and lucid manner.

I would certainly use his services again in the future and would be happy to recommend him to prospective clients.

Alejandro was very proficient in addressing the issues that shut down my laptop.  His service was invaluable.

Alejandro was both professional and personable, and got the job done to a high standard in a reasonable amount of time.  If it were possible I would give him a B+.
The only things that kept me from giving him an A were:
1) that he forgot to bring the kind of hard drive that he needed to work on my computer, so had to take it home with him, thus prolonging the time I had to wait to get a working computer again.
2) that it cost more than I thought it would.  To be fair, there was a range shown in his reviews, and I don't know enough about computers to accurately gauge the difficulty of my repair--I believe viruses were the root of the trouble.  Also, I think I'm spoiled because my previous computer guy lived a few blocks away and was pretty darn cheap.  I think it was probably because he had a day job and did it on the side, so it was both very easy for him to swing by, and consulting wasn't his only source of income.
Although because I'm really strapped I'm going to try to find another person in the neighborhood who's cheaper, if I were not so broke I wouldn't hesitate to use him again, and if I don't get lucky in finding someone, I'll definitely use him again.  He was capable, reliable, and easy to deal with.
I would recommend him.

I bought a new hard drive and needed it set up and files transferred from the old one. Alejandro had previously answered my phone questions which made the purchasing decision easier.  He did the install and transfer without a hitch. He was very professional throughout the process, even though it took a bit longer than either of us had anticipated.  He answered questions for me (a non-techie)  in a layperson's language. I would definietly use his service again.

I was very pleased with Alejandro.  He called when he was on his way over, knew what he was doing, was very professional and I Ifelt that I could call him if I had any further questions.  And I think his prices are very reasonable.

My service here was terrible.  Everything that they offered, and everything that they promised, they did not do.  When I would call, they would put me on hold for up to 2 hours if I was willing to wait that long.  They would transfer me endlessly with no results.  I could hardly understand anything that they were saying either.

Alejandro was responsive to my requests and questions and patient and determined in tackling the tasks (retrieval and transfer of files to my new computer and subsequent resurrection of my old computer) he undertook.  At all times he was pleasant and reassuring in tackling those tasks.  I am extremely pleased with his service and its outcome.  His fee was very reasonable given the nature of the challenge, the amount of his effort, and the degree of success he achieved (full).  I enthusiastically recommend him to others who experience computer crashes.

Alejandro arrived on time, worked with the client to understand her requirements of the system that was to be moved.  He disconnected a single PC from the network and helped move it to the new location a few blocks away.  He then reinstalled the PC, encountered some problems (the system was set up to work on a network but needed to be redirected to the local c-drive for its data) and resolved them.

His work was consistently knowledgeable and professional and his attitude was consistently helpful, pleasant, patient and attentive.

The work was actually performed at the office and home of Dr. Will Grossman (office: 30 East 72nd Street; home: 165 East 72nd Street).

I would not hesitate to recommend Alejandro to other clients and fully intend to call on him if (when) my own computer acts up.

Alejandro was competent at setting up my new laptop. He performed transfers as necessary and advised me about software.

It went very well.  In the beginning I was nervous because I had virtually no experience using the computer as I had previously had a support staff no longer available to me.

Alex was recommended to me by a friend who still uses his services.  Alex has taken me through various stages of learning with patience and politeness and humor.  Most of my work has to do with writing--from letters to press releases to various Word
Documents.

He set up all my programs, taught me the fundamentals of cutting, copying, pasting and taught me virtually everything I know to date. Of course, I have a lot more to learn and intend to keep on going. 

I think I am one of his most regular clients.

He is accommodating when it comes to making an appointment.  He begins by figuring out the problem and then solving it. I called Alejandro when I moved to my new apartment to set up my computer and internet.  He came when scheduled, was super prompt as always and stayed until he finished the job.  Perfect!

Mr. Nunez arrived promptly, got right to work and dealt with a variety of issues on my computer. He was extremely friendly and never made me feel like the technological idiot I know I am.
